We are Koen and Marleen. We recently took over the b&b de Gortla. The Gortla is located in a village: Oosterblokker. Oosterblokker is close to the cities of Hoorn, Enkhuizen and Amsterdam. Hoorn is within cycling distance. Enkhuizen and Amsterdam are easy to reach by car or train. The cottage has its own kitchenette, where you can cook for yourself, and a private bathroom with a lovely shower. At the top of the spiral staircase, there is a double bed. Downstairs in the living room, there are 2 single beds.

Ultimate enjoyment for 2 people in the picturesque village of Zwaag, this is 10 minutes by bike from the VOC city of Hoorn and 35 km drive to Amsterdam. The apartment is on the second floor in a modern farmhouse and is arranged as follows: With the stairs via a private entrance, you reach the open kitchen and spacious living room (32 m2). The toilet is separate from the bedroom with a double bed and an open bathroom (26 m2). You can rent electric bicycles from us, and there is a spacious parking space.

Elburg - Fortress "Bij de jufferen"

In the medieval fortress of Elburg lies this monumental residence (1850) with many authentic details. On the ground floor is the private entrance. You can also put your bikes there. On the first floor (old steep staircase😉) you will find a cozy living room with kitchen. Also here is the staircase to the loft where the bedroom is. You have access to a private kitchen with (simple) cooking facilities. The green fortress wall is 50 meters away, and you have a view of the historic church tower.
