This cabin is a photographers dream. 7 miles from a boat launch on the Flathead river, a popular fishing and floating access. 20 miles from the small, unique town of Hot Springs, "home of the healing waters". The town has several bath houses fed with the natural hot mineral water. As our guests, you will have acess to almost anywhere on the ranch to enjoy the beauty it has to offer. This is truly a rare experience to create lasting memories for you and your family.

High Country Cabin

Come and relax, enjoy a cup of coffee as you read a book. Enjoy some good food in town or on the deck of your own private cabin overlooking our pond and creek. There are many fun outdoor activities in the area including hiking, biking, kayaking, hunting, fishing, skiing, golfing, only 20-30 min away from two different hot springs, and an hour and a half away from Flathead Lake. With one queen bedroom, one bath, a living/dining room, pull out couch and loft with two queen air mattresses.

Secluded guest cabin in Swan Valley

Clean and cozy guest cabin way off the beaten path in the Swan Valley. Secluded and quiet, backs up to state and national forest with a creek and abundant wildlife. ***UPDATE FOR SPRING/SUMMER 2026: We are adding on to our home, which is adjacent to the guest cabin. We anticipate the exterior will be done by mid-June, but there may still be a little mess by our house, and minor construction activity. The guest cabin is fully functional and not directly affected by the construction.

Moderate/ Mild walking and hiking is available onsite. Restaurants are located within a 10 to 15 minute as well as a grocery store. Starlink internet and cell service is provided. We hope you see its potential and feel the peacefulness and calm that it affords as a refuge from the noise and demands of life.

The Historic Catholic Mission is just a stone throw to the South. The National Bison Range is just up the hill and to the North. This is the place - convenient, affordable, and central to a post office, gas station, and grocery store.

Sightings of otters, ducks, swans, muskrat, fox, racoon, deer and the occasional skunk. We love meeting people from all walks of life and backgrounds, ourselves having lived in Europe and Africa.

I told myself that one day I'd build a log home too. Twenty years later, we made it happen.
