Brand new and delicious house!

Wonderful generous hosts, quick to respond to questions. Kaja's place is a hidden gem, true to description and photos! Their peaceful and pristine home has an outstanding and mesmerising view of Oslo city and Oslofyord in the distance! There's an easy hiking trail, supermarkets and fast electric car charging point (~2.5km) not far away. Rather than driving into Oslo city centre, Asker train station is 8km away, one can park one's car there and head into Oslo city for sightseeing with an Oslo Pass which includes public transport in addition to most museum entrance fees. My family had a wonderful stay and can recommend Kaja's place without hesitation.

Beach property and bathhouse access

We had an absolutely fantastic 3-night stay at Mitra’s place, and what’s even more impressive is that we booked it with less than a day’s short notice! Mitra was incredibly accommodating, even offering us an early check-in to match our early flight, which made everything so much easier. From the moment we arrived, Mitra was warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The house was perfect — cozy, clean, and fully equipped for a relaxing getaway. We were blessed with beautiful weather, and spent hours soaking up the sun on the dock while admiring the stunning Oslofjord. It was an absolute highlight of our trip. One of the unique touches that made our stay extra special was the instruments and JBL stereo in the living room. We had such a great time playing music by the water, creating memories that we’ll cherish for a long time. Thank you, Mitra, for your amazing hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. We look forward to coming back!

Exceptional Kindness & A Truly Relaxing Getaway ! My stay was fantastic, thanks largely to the wonderful host, Anne. She was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive from the moment I booked until I left, always making sure I had everything I needed but never intrusive. The house was a haven… so peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully set up for relaxation. It was exactly the calming escape I was looking for. I felt completely at home and recharged. I genuinely didn’t want to leave and am already talking about when I can return! Thank you, Anne, for your amazing hospitality and for creating such a special place.
A clean, modern bathroom is shown, featuring a white wall-mounted sink and a sleek toilet. Natural wood accents are visible in the ceiling and a small wooden stool is present. Soft lighting from a round fixture adds warmth to the tiled space.

Annex with bedroom and bathroom, including breakfast

We enjoyed our stay! The room was nicely decorated, the bed was cozy and comfortable and the bathroom was modern and clean. The breakfast was very delicious. The diverse and fresh selection was lovingly compiled. The view from the breakfast table to the shared garden was also beautiful. Although the room is directly opposite the host's house, our privacy was always respected throughout the stay. Both Neena and her husband were courteous and extremely friendly. The connection to Oslo works very well. The bus that goes to the ferry port is a 5-minute walk away. The crossing by ferry takes about half an hour, which we enjoyed every time because of the view.
A modern bathroom is featured, showcasing a sleek, white toilet and a wall-mounted sink with a minimalist design. The space is tiled with white and dark gray tiles, and a mirror is positioned above the sink, contributing to the contemporary aesthetic.

Modern flat in Nesøya – close to beach and Oslo

Very good hosts, helpful and solve problems quickly. Sofie always responds right away. The house is 1-2 minutes walking distance to the bus if you get there by bus. It is easy to get to the city center and back even on late evenings. Best bed linens and towels. But feel free to bring an extra one to the beach! :D Nice swimming area within walking distance. The best was in Brønnøya!

Architect-designed gem with good standard.

We had a great stay in this beautiful house on a wonderful island. It was a bit challenging with 3 kids in the rain, but it was well worth it. The house and grounds are absolutely amazing and it's a great adventure getting there and exploring the island. Thanks to Christian for his help.
The exterior of the guesthouse is framed by lush greenery and tall trees, featuring a spacious wooden deck with seating. The building's dark wood exterior contrasts with the vibrant blue sky, while patches of grass and rocky terrain surround the property.
