In the heart of Djursland, the prairie wagon is high up in the sky and overlooks the steppe. The prairie is quiet and is located in scenic surroundings with forest in the backyard and half an hour to three coasts and beautiful Molsbjerge etc. The prairie wagon contains everything a normal home contains, just on a smaller scale. If you like, there is the option of a sauna and a wilderness bath (to be purchased) in addition to an evening around the fire. I live on the premises but otherwise keep a respectful distance. In this cozy cottage, you can completely unwind and enjoy the beautiful view of both fields and forests. The cottage is for you who appreciate outdoor life and like the simple life close to nature. Here you live a little on nature's terms, as the electricity comes from solar cells, the water from the gutter, and the heat from the sun and wood in the wood-burning stove. You therefore have to hold back a little on consumption - in return, you can enjoy the silence, see beautiful sunsets and wild animals such as deer and birds of prey.

Close to all the sights of Djursland, Randers and Aarhus, good fishing opportunities in the coastal areas and long bike paths along the sea. In the forests around the apartment, there are plenty of opportunities to experience the animals as well as the lovely nature the area offers. Good shopping opportunities within 5 to 10 minutes' drive, depending on which shop you choose.

When you arrive, the apartment is ready for you with clean bed linen and towels. 500 meters to a grill, ice cream, and fish shop. 2 km to pizza. 13 km to Djurs Sommerland. Charging electric cars or similar is not allowed. Paddleboard rental available.
