Welcome to this nice holiday home at Storekorsnes, located by the Altafjord. The accommodation is about 50 minutes by car from Alta city center, and there are both bus and boat connections. The house is located in quiet surroundings with great sea view. Nice area for hiking both summer and winter. The house is perfect for fishing trips, berry picking, hunting trips, skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. It's also a nice place if you just want to relax and enjoy the silence, see the midnight sun, or the northern lights.

A lovely cozy and comfortable apartment in a good location with beautiful views. Aksel was very responsive, helpful and up for a chat. The sauna was very enjoyable too. We would like to visit again.

Cabin attached to Frid's house, but still a lot of privacy. I just shortly saw Frid, and she was very nice. Especially nice were the self-picked cloudberry, fresh bread and butter that were welcoming me!

The house is just as described in the listing. It's a bit far from downtown, but in a very quiet area. The sauna inside the house is a plus. The outdoor barbecue area was great. Odd kindly provided us with everything we needed to make the barbecue. I would recommend this accommodation without hesitation. It had everything you need for both a short and long stay.

A cozy bedroom features a spacious bed with soft bedding and two decorative pillows against a warm wood-paneled wall. Soft lighting is provided by wall sconces on either side, and a large window offers a view of the scenic outdoors.

Our flight was canceled and we had to rebook but I forgot to tell Kamilla we would be arriving hours earlier than originally expected. Kamilla handled it really well and managed to make the stay perfect for us. For instance, she answered my multiple late-night questions about how to turn on the sauna; somehow I just couldn’t understand the directions. And I am so glad she did - the sauna in her bathroom is a great plus. There is also a large beautiful back yard that isn’t pictured in the listing. Kamilla’s condo was a great place to relax after our long journey from Canada on the way to get on a cruise ship.

We stayed at Oyster-Catcher Monday to Friday, at the end of September and we are incredibly happy with our stay here. The view was amazing no matter the weather. We felt at home in the cabin and here was everything we needed of equipment etc. It was beautiful and peaceful here on Ekkerøy and it was amazing to be so close to the sea. Lots of nice to see here, an eldorado for photo enthusiasts! Ingjerd was nice and helpful and gave us great tips for our journey to Vardø. We will come back, preferably to experience another season here on Ekkerøy. Thanks for us!

A lovely, modernised home in walking distance of the fortress, the witches' monument and the harbour. The house is on a quiet road but with easy access to shops and attractions on the west side of Vardo. It has been recently refurbished and is warm and clean and comfortable. Vivian has just about everything you could need for a short stay in Vardo and is very helpful and responsive to queries. We enjoyed our time here and we appreciated coming back to the warmth and comfort of the house after we'd been back walking. Highly recommended.
