Vacation rentals in Filoti

Our stay in Filoti, Naxos was truly unforgettable. The house we chose was absolutely traditional, with colors that reflect the authentic island aesthetic. Every detail of the decoration took us to the traditions of the place, creating a unique atmosphere. The bedrooms were spacious and the mattresses were extra comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The location of the house was ideal, just a few steps from the main square, where we could enjoy coffee, good food and evening drinks in good company. The roof of the house offered panoramic views of the village and nature, while the kitchen, with its picturesque character, reminded us of our childhood summers in the village. We were especially impressed by the entrance of the house with the impressive armchair. In the square, the imposing plane tree gathered guests, who enjoyed the Naxian delicacies in the surrounding shops. Kostas and Eleni were great hosts. I loved them

We really enjoyed the apartment at Maria's place. It's located in an authentic small greek village, with beautiful narrow streets and view over the valley. Just a minute walk from the apartment there's a nice old olive oil mill, which now provides small tour and tasting experience as well as a folklore museum . It's in walking distance to Chalkie and only a few minutes to drive to other villages. We will be happy to come back, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the village. Maria also shared with us some food on arrival and last day, which was delicious!

We found Doukaki's house to be a charming, spacious, relaxing, and private base for our four-night stay in Naxos. The view from the living room and the private yard was more than nice. The stairs and narrow streets leading to the house felt like the essence of Naxos village atmosphere. Maria and Nikos were welcoming and patient hosts. We kept postponing the hour of our arrival, and they never commented on that. When we finally reached Filoti, Maria was waiting for us in the main street. She helped us park our rental car in the last tiny spot available. It was a very Greek experience. Four days were not nearly enough to explore Naxos and to enjoy Filoti. We sort of doubled our days by making an early morning trip, taking a nap, and then heading out again for an afternoon trip. A car is a must to get around. We also used it to shorten the hike for the sunrise at Mt. Zas. The second morning we went to Aria Spring and the cave of Zeus, which is worthwhile, but bring a good flashlight.

Stella and her family are the dearest, kindest, most attentive hosts anyone could hope for -- far beyond our expectations. They welcomed and continued to care for us like family -- and we will always remember them as such. The only drawback to a host like Stella is that every other host will pale in comparison! That said, Hailki is the most charming village, centrally located so we were able to see the entire island and we made friends at all of the local eateries where the food and wine was also exceptional. It was just so hard to leave. It

We loved our stay at Cycladic Luxury Maisonette! This is an amazing place to stay in Filoti. The host is incredibly nice and responsible and helped us through any questions we had. This place is perfectly placed outside of Filoti for an amazing night time view of the town, but a short walk right into it for dinner or breakfast. You will not regret this place! We loved it!

Hands down one of the most beautiful Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at. House filled with so much history and insanely beautiful. It was in the middle of Naxos in a beautiful village called Filoti (one of the best ones in Naxos) and was less than 30 mins away. If you want a real Greek experience, this is the place to stay at!!!! Great host as well :)

We had booked this Airbnb with my two sisters from July 12 to 17 for our holidays in Greece. When we arrived, the Airbnb was tidy, clean and faithful to the photos. There were several air conditioners, very useful with the great heat of Greece. Gates on the windows prevented mosquitoes from entering. The balcony offered a pleasant view of the street and the hills, perfect for breakfast or dinner. The village of Halki was beautiful and the house well located: 1 minute from a bakery, 5 minutes from a supermarket, 3 minutes from restaurants and shops, and 5 minutes from the bus stop for Naxos (30 minutes). Restaurants closed at midnight, but the neighborhood was very quiet at night. We thank the host and the co-host, very responsive and easy to reach, who left us water, sugar, chocolate, tea, etc. They quickly solved a problem encountered. We highly recommend their Airbnb and will not hesitate to come back. Naxos is an incredible island with beautiful landscapes and very nice inhabitant
