House vacation rentals in Figueira da Foz

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

We spent a very nice holiday week at Casa da Serra! The tasteful and thoughtful architect's house and the great garden with adjoining goat enclosure was only surpassed by the hospitality of Luíz and Isabelle. After sunset, fireflies "lit up" our terrace. For our children, the heated pool in particular was a big plus. Since we were the only guests most of the time, we almost always had this to ourselves. Directly behind the house, the national park begins, which also offers hiking opportunities. I've rarely seen so many butterflies in one place. Of the nearby destinations, we visited Coimbra, Nazaré (north beach), one of the nearby caves, and Obidos. All in all, we had a very varied and at the same time very relaxing vacation with great hosts! Muito obrigado!

The location is excellent, within walking distance to grocery stores and a bakery; easy driving distance to downtown, beaches and Sítio. The pool was lovely and the beds very comfortable for our group. Paula was easy to reach and very responsive. Nazaré was my favorite place in all of our Portuguese adventures and cannot wait to go back.

"Casa do Tio" is very cozy, with everything you need for a stay in the middle of nature, without having to drive. We went with two children who loved the pool and exploring the countryside, and we had the opportunity to enjoy the good weather and have a barbecue in the outdoor kitchen, toasted by the sunset. In the evening, we were treated to a firefly show. Catarina was always very attentive, providing amenities for the baby. We were also entitled to "pampering" upon our arrival. We highly recommend this space for those looking for a quiet, beautiful, modern place in full harmony with nature.

Beautiful home with lots of amenities.

The villa is well equipped and is a great location as a starting point for day trips, multiple coast locations within 20 - 30 minutes. The villa has all you can need for a family holiday, the pool is big enough for a family holiday it has a small shelf step which my granddaughter (3yrs old) used to help with her swimming which was great. The host is very responsive if you need any help and provided simple but clear answers. Would recommend for a family holiday as long as you had a car, there is limited access to restaurants local to the property but not a negative for our family but worth knowing.

Simon and Sue make sure you will feel welcome in their place. Everything was as expected and advertised and the little details make the place feel more like a second home than a rental spot. The surroundings invite you to explore but the amenities, specially the jacuzzi, also ask you to stay and enjoy.

It was a very nice cottage, small, but everything was in good material, nice shower, nicely decorated with nice wood details. We slept wonderfully with the windows open and the sound of the river, otherwise it was completely quiet at night. Outside nice terraces, wonderfully seated with our feet in the river, a fantastic environment, completely unobstructed views at the back of the house and a lovely hamlet. We walked every day for half an hour to Gois, a beautiful village with river and delicious pastries at the paladeria. We thought it was very nice!

Rita was an exceptional host. She provided clear directions and many options regarding places to visit. Her place is both well cared for and well stocked for everything you need.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this space. It was peaceful, amazing views, and our 3 boys had such a great time enjoying the jacuzzi and jumping into the river. Quiet town that is the perfect escape.

Perfect home to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and escape the routine. You just have to do a little grocery shopping in the village and you don't even have to leave the house, you have everything you need to spend a good few days. Super quiet place, you can hear the stream, the birds, surrounded by nature. The house even feels like ours, it doesn't give that rented house feeling, very comfortable, well decorated, and with all the essentials. Paula and Luís were great hosts, always in touch to give us directions on how to get there, points of interest and made us feel free to reach out whenever necessary. Can't wait next time!

Andre met us at the apartment which turned out to be helpful as finding it without him might have been a challenge. There's a view of the square from the downstairs bedroom and living room and on the opposite side there's a view overlooking the town that get a beautiful sunset. I'm not sure if it was because of student celebrations that weekend but the square was quite loud overnight but I don't imagine there were many quiet areas. The location was great, an easy if strenuous walk to the river and the university. Highly recommend.

A beautiful house in a great location with a wonderful view from the terrace, with a very nice natural pool, but a bit cold because of the constantly fresh water. The neighborhood is very quiet and welcoming. We were a bit unlucky because of the wildfires. So we had to leave 2 days early to be sure to get to the airport and catch our plane. Irene was very friendly and open hearted and took great care of the house and pool. We can fully recommend this villa.

We stayed a week and everything went well. Spectacular space, inside and outside the house, and a very quiet environment, we liked it a lot.

We arrived and in felt like home. My daughter's loved the special cake that Marta left for us upon arrival. The house is well equipped with everything you need and more. The bathtub was a favorite, and the balcony was a wonderful place to relax and people watch. The beach is only steps away, along with places to grab a snack. We used the bikes for a fun ride and my daughter loved the game room area to read and do crafts. Something for everyone in a picture perfect location. The entire home was impeccable. An excellent property if you want peace and tranquility in a countryside setting but also so close(20 minutes drive) from 2 major towns with everything you would need for shopping/groceries. It is also a 40 minute drive from some gorgeous beaches. Lisbon is about 1 hour 30 minutes drive away if you wanted to explore the city. We picked the property for the countryside setting and it didn't disappoint. The house had everything you would need. All mod cons. We cooked meals most nights . Beds were very comfy. Outdoor space was lovely especially the pool. Parking for car at the house. For convenience there is a small very well stocked supermarket 4 minutes away. We had a lady call twice during the holiday selling freshly caught fish from her vehicle. Overall we had an amazing time on our break in Flavio's property and would throughly recommend it for a stay in Portugal...

We liked everything in the house, nothing to point out! Calm and rural location. Great for a vacation. Very friendly hosts, attentive and available for any eventuality. They left us a welcome gift. Impeccable! Flexibility at checkout. Extremely clean and organized house. Fully equipped kitchen. Very nice pool and with the possibility of using the outside toilet. The apartment was perfect, the area was quiet, 2 minutes from the beach, there were good restaurants nearby and the apartment matched the description provided. We would recommend it!

An outstanding gem among Airbnb accommodations! The house is very personal and tremendously attractive, as well as very high-quality. Even if you immediately feel at home, you have great respect for the services that the owner and this property have invested. There's nothing missing! We very much hope that the host will continue to have guests who are very respectful of the house and the furnishings, so that the high utility and beauty of the property are preserved for the host and his guests.

We had an excellent stay in Cernache. The spacious apartment offered enough space for all our needs and was nicely decorated and very clean. The processed wood has a great scent. Antonio greeted us personally and gave us tips on the stay and the area. Particularly beautiful was the garden with orange and lemon trees, which gave us fresh juice for the breakfast table, a playhouse and swings as well as a small pool, which especially pleased our daughter. Coimbra is just a stone's throw away, but Cernache also welcomed us in a very friendly way, the locals were all very accommodating. Thank you!
