Haugesund is located between Stavanger in the south (2 hours drive) and Bergen in the north (3 hours drive). From the cottage you have stunning views over rough, untouched nature with heather heaths, swab mountains and open sea. The house is a farmhouse from 1907, it was completely renovated in 2019. The house is situated in an open landscape surrounded by farms that do sheep, cows and horses. These surroundings create lovely views from all rooms. On our farm we do the cultivation of fruits and berries, and produce apple juice and aronia juice for sale. In addition we have a small home bakery where we bake potato cookies. The house is remotely located in relation to both neighbors and the host family's residence.

If you come by boat there is plenty of room for the boat at the pier. Naustet is part of Sokn Gard (see fb) which has many animals you can visit, and the garden has a 5 km hiking trail.
