Top notch for our several day visit. enjoyed the property immensely. container was extremely nice for us, a/c's kept up in the heat of the day and super quiet & peaceful at night. enjoyed the container pool as the sun heated up the outdoors. headed in to town for some great drinks & food. would highly recommend and ready to come back!

This place was great for a nature girl myself. The kids were able to have fun in the pool while the adults fished and grilled!

We had a wonderful stay here! It's the perfect weekend getaway for Texas residents, and a chance to enjoy their wonderful outdoor space. We had our toddler and dog with us along with a couple friends. The layout was perfect for our group, and the space was very kid-friendly. We loved the firepit, and the grate over the top made me much more comfortable having our toddler and dog outside while the fire was going. The hot tub was great in the evenings, and we loved all the space to roam around. We're hoping to make it an annual trip!

Every bit of my stay here was awesome! It was so comfortable and relaxing. Everything I needed was there. The hot tub was great! The fire pit was perfect. I sat on the porch and watched the cows in the morning while enjoying my coffee. The bed was so comfortable and I slept better than I had in a long time. I was the only guest while there but never felt unsafe or awkward, Nigel was around and even stopped to check on me. I will definitely revisit and recommend this awesome place to everybody I know! There is so much to do in the surrounding areas but you won’t lack the fun and relaxation if you just hang out here!

Our family was able to stay together at this country retreat before one of our son’s wedding that was happening nearby. It was a great location for the venue and allowed us extra time together plus the bonus of being a beautiful place. Our nearest hotel options would have been a very different experience. The beds were comfy and the weather was perfect to spend time outside and enjoy the front porch and surroundings.

The bunkhouse is a great rustic experience in the middle of a picturesque landscape of rolling hills and beautiful huge oaks. Our hosts were extremely responsive to our needs and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I would highly recommend staying here.

Heather's place was super clean, private, and easy to access. I was in town for a wedding weekend, and I was within walking distance to the bride's house. We were able to bring the dress and suits over to Heather's to steam/iron. The garden is beautiful, and, although I never used it, the pool looked pristine. I would definitely stay again. Overall the stay was great. Lynnen was extremely responsive and flexible with us! Air conditioning worked great and the place was mostly clean. There was some dust here and there and maybe some rat droppings but other than that, just what you would expect from a very old house!

Laurie was really responsive and the place was in nice condition. It was so easy to stay there. Schulenburg was very quiet when we were there but all the local spots were still open.

We really enjoyed our third stay at The Best Little Cabin in Texas. The cabin is cozy and surroundings absolutely beautiful; just what we wanted. Jan went above and beyond my expectations for an excellent host. She is friendly, kind, and responded quickly to the questions I had. I'm sure we will try to plan another stay in the future.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was absolutely perfect — peaceful, beautiful, and very easy to get around, even for our elderly and handicapped family members. Our son had an amazing time fishing and caught a lot of fish right on the property! Everything was exactly what we hoped for and more. We’ll definitely be back!
