The stay here was great. We came up for the weekend to ski at Hidden Valley and Seven Springs which was about 40 minutes away. It was a very cold weekend and the heat worked very well, the water was hot, there was complimentary hot cocoa and coffee. The mircowave worked well as well as the fridge. It was quiet. The complimentary breakfast included granola bars, oatmeal, cereal, and coffee. The hosts were also very flexible as we needed to adjust our dates very last minute. Great place, will definitely stay here again.
A cozy sleeping area features two queen beds with rustic plaid blankets and decorative pillows. Natural wood accents are present in the bed frames and nightstands. Framed artwork and a bedside lamp provide additional warmth to the space, complemented by soft ambient light.

Great deal for skiing at seven springs. Was about 35 minutes from the resort. Place was clean and warm and they had a nice continental breakfast spread. Also got a free beanie hat with the room :) My only complaint is that there was no dining options within 20 minutes in the winter.

we arrived during a sleet/rain storm and there was no power in the entire town. luckily the room was warm and dry. in the morning staff brought coffee and breakfast even though there was still no power. unfortunately we have a young child so couldn't stay multiple nights without power. hosts were very accommodating and responsive. lovely place and will definitely go back again!

Just passing through PA and made a quick stop in Ohiopyle for one night. After weeks of dry and nice weather, we just happened to get 5-6 inches of snow overnight, with the snow starting to stick just about the time we pulled into the parking lot for our stay. We love Ohiopyle, and this was the first time being here during the winter, so it was nice to experience it with snow. The town is much more quiet in the winter, but a lot of the outdoor activities can still be had on land. This room is center of town, and easy access to hike or run on the Laurel Highlands Trail or the Great Allegheny Passage. A coffee shop that was open in the winter was a stones throw away. I'm not sure the summer rates, but we paid $112 for a mid February date. This seems standard for the area, but there wasn't a ton of extras with this room. Simple enough, which was fine for us.
A soft, white towel is neatly placed on the edge of a modern, beige bathtub. A small, eco-friendly soap rests on top of the towel, complementing the serene atmosphere of the bathroom.

My group had a great time in the area and you could not pick a better location to explore the area from! Good for walking around and dog friendly. Also in good proximity to the Frank Lloyd Write houses. Plan any grocery shopping ahead of time as there is not much near by.

The place was very relaxing and peaceful. We were able to come and go as we please without any issue getting into our room. The backyard was absolutely beautiful and welcoming. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and warm. The atmosphere was luxorious and well designed with great artwork, beautiful curtains and rich colors everywhere. Breakfast was great and Pat even had little snacks all through out the house which is a nice little bonus. We definitely recommend this place for those looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you so much Pat.

Our stay in the attic apartment was incredible! The mansion is full of history and takes you back to its time from your first step in! Pat was very welcoming, gave us a tour of the whole mansion and gave us local food recommendations as well as an insight to her story - she is a fascinating woman! The breakfast was top notch - the whole experience was top notch! I can’t recommend enough! Thank you again for hosting us - made my birthday weekend most memorable!

Maple Bottom Farmhouse - Delaine room

My 12-year-old and I had a great visit. The host was on site when we arrived. She was very friendly and welcoming. Over the course of our stay, we learned a lot about cows and the dairy industry. My daughter loved being able to pet the calves and sheep. And we both enjoyed walking around — including through the flower field — and relaxing on the porch and in glider in the yard. The house had a lot of unique furniture and other details that I really enjoyed looking at. Breakfast was delicious and included products produced from the farm’s milk. We had a great visit and look forward to returning.

King Chalet/ fireplace 22 mi. to Seven Springs

Really beautiful, historic, yet recently renovated b&b. Pat was very friendly and accommodating with the breakfast time and menu (my partner is vegan). The food was tasty. The hot tub was a nice touch! Sound isolation between the two rooms in the carriage house is not great but it wasn’t a huge deal. The room itself, with the fireplace, comfy bed, and tasteful decor was excellent. Overall a recommended stay.

Lucile’s place is perfect if you are riding the GAP trail. Forget the Comfort Inn. Lucille’s BnB is nearby, and FAR nicer. She served us a delicious breakfast that filled us up properly for a long and fun day of riding. A hotel breakfast doesn’t even exist in the same universe as Lucille’s.
