My Old Kentucky Home hosted by Shane was a wonderful place to stay! The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The amenities on site were amazing. The hot tub and pool were all set and ready for our group when we arrived, which we appreciated greatly. Communication was great, and Shane was on top of everything. Our stay was wonderful and we would love to come back for another visit! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Lexington area.

The house was very clean. The door lock box was very easy to use. The beds were comfortable. The house was tastefully decorated. If you have seniors looking to stay, getting in and out of the shower could be difficult. The neighborhood was convenient to many stores and restaurants. The outdoor space was beautiful however we did not get to enjoy it bc our weekend was full of activities. Elizabeth the host was easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here while showing horses at KHP. It was a short 10 min drive to the park. Close to Kroger, restaurant and last minute shopping trips. Katie’s place was very clean and comfortable and met our needs. The back yard and fence needs some work, especially if you’re bringing a pet. I’d also suggest more towels in the master. 2 were not enough for the week and I did buy more for our stay.

I had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated. Everything was exactly as described. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area, and the neighborhood felt safe and peaceful. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure I had everything I needed for a great stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Airbnb!

The house was beautiful! My friends and I stayed here for a guys weekend and we had an unbelievable experience. The host was responsive and friendly. The backyard was a perfect hangout spot and we had an amazing experience. The only downside was that the actual street the house is on felt unsafe on the walk to downtown but if you walked over a couple blocks, the walk felt fine.

this villa was an outstanding value. aweaome location on the bourbon trail. was perfect weekend for my girlfriend and i to unwind and relax while enjoying distillery tours and shopping. the hot tub was wonderful at the end of the day. we will definitely be back. thank you john.

Great location and a great home base for a bourbon trail tour. Only issue was not getting sent a code to unlock the house, but this was quickly rectified so it was only a brief hiccup during a great stay.

Loved our stay. The Hot tub on the back porch was the perfect touch after our long evenings on the road. Location to tour multiple distilleries and visit the zoo. Incredible trip and fantastic place to stay.

Absolutely loved Bourbon Barrel cottages! Beautiful setting out in the rolling hills of Kentucky. Lose to distilleries and restaurants yet out far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Angie was out every day tending to the beautiful landscaping. They even offer fresh eggs on-site. Book this place next time you’re in bourbon country, you won’t be disappointed!

John's place was the perfect landing spot for our Kentucky getaway! Close access to highways to get to Lexington and Louisville. We were able to get to distilleries, the horse parks, farms, and restaurants easily. The house was clean, spacious, and offered all the amenities to make our trip comfortable. The hot tub was a nice way to wind down, and the surrounding farm land and woods were the perfect serene backdrop.

I visited here with my two friends and we haven’t been able to stop talking about it since. I can’t wait to come back here. The property is beautiful. The hot tub is perfectly set up to view a stunning sunset. The area was also very quiet. The inside is so unique and inviting. Very very clean and fantastic layout!

Awesome place in an awesome location. Came for a bachelor party weekend of bourbon tasting at a few distilleries and this place was close to many of them. Host was responsive and friendly. 10/10 would stay again!

Rachel’s cabin is cozy, comfortable and has beautiful views. Close to Richmond, Berea and Lexington. We will definitely come back.

We were pleasantly surprised at how well the place fit all our needs. There’s a lot packed into this place - lots of beds, good games, extra tables and chairs…. Gorgeous grounds and we loved the large back porch area!

We loved this little place! Perfect for our family get away. We enjoyed fishing in the pond, relaxing in the hot tub, and cooking dinner and hanging out in the kitchen/living room. So cool how there were games and activities “hidden” throughout. Jodi was extremely responsive and fixed our one small issue Immediately. This place was absolutely beautiful and we had so much fun exploring in the surrounding areas.
