Casas do Poente is a property consisting of 3 houses, ours and 2 other independent houses. Casinha do Burro & Casinha da Cabra, each with its own private patio and terrace. Casinha do Burro (40m2) has 1 bedroom with double bed, the living/dining room with a kitchenette and a wood burning stove, 1 WC and a beautiful patio. The terrace overlooks the countryside, the sea and the sky! We are quiet and value both our privacy and the privacy of our guests. We are a family of 4, 2 humans and 2 dogs.

The guest accommodation is private & comprises one half of the restored farmhouse. There is a private terrace with views across treetops & the winding river; which reaches the sea a few km downstream at the award winning beach of Odeceixe.

Located near the historical town Silves, in a area with beautiful nature surrounding it. It has a NATURAL SWIMMING POOL, swim and relax in the clean swimming area while watching hovering dragonflies, butterflies and all the magic of a natural swimming pool. In 2015 the house was completely renovated with an extension built using straw bales that keeps the house cool in the summer an warm in the winter. This one room studio apartment has just been renovated and is located on our small farm where we grow vegetables and fruit trees. The house is made out of rammed earth, placed just a few meters from the gorgeous river of Seixe, surrounded by green hills and fields. The valley is very calm and full of animals such as cows, horses, goats, sheep, donkeys and pigs. In the hot days you can take a cooling dip in the river or visit the amazing beach only 6 km away!
