Mountain Hikers Luxury Retreat in Roquefixade

AlastairRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Roquefixade is a very picturesque village and the accomodation is excellent, with a spectacular outlook. There are lovely walks in the area. We especially enjoyed the chateau circuit and another loop walk to Les Demoiselles. Tom was a very friendly and helpful host.

Villa near Carcassonne, in the heart of Cathar Country

NicoRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We booked this house for a 5-day family stay (6 adults and 2 children). The accommodation was perfect, good bedding, fully equipped even for toddlers. And a view that you don't get tired of. The accommodation is 400 m above sea level. And the hosts are very welcoming.

Montreal (Aude): beautiful ground floor apartment

Marie-FrançoiseRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Jean and his wife are warm and discreet. Their apartment is spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated. There is absolutely everything you need in kitchen equipment and bedding. A very good bakery and a supermarket are close to the accommodation. In short, nothing is missing from what you could want. We would recommend this place without reservation.

Maison Agane – Access to the Canal du Midi, heated pool

StephanieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Audrey is excellent. We were much later check-in than anticipated. She stayed in communication until our check-in at 8 PM. Great instructions on how to find the key. Next morning, she and the property owner stopped by with a bottle of wine and cookies. They are so friendly and happy to give information. You will need a car here. The house is in a farming village, so no bus or train within walking distance. It was perfect for us, we had a car, interested in driving around the Southern France. Grocery is 5-10 min drive from the house. Wi-Fi was great. The house is fantastically decorated and super clean. No bedroom on the first floor, so will need to use stairs. Upstairs 4 dbrm (1 rm has a small room behind with 2 single beds for small kids), 2 showers, 1 toilet upstairs. Only recommendation would be to add handrail. The rooms are large and airy. Big, beautiful windows that open where you can hear the birds in the morning. No houses or building with distracting noise. Highly recommend!
A minimalist shelf displays a collection of vintage books alongside a small ceramic bust. Above, two neatly arranged plates are visible. The subdued color palette creates a calm and serene atmosphere.

Beautiful Village Oasis, 20 min from Carcassone.

SusanRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Montreal is a classic southern french village, with narrow streets and church bells sounding the time throughout the day. Cathy’s house is on a pretty street lined with ivy-covered walls. It’s an old house that has been renovated with great care to install modern comforts without compromising aesthetic authenticity. My friend and I loved it. There is no parking on the narrow street by the house, but there is a parking area five minutes walk down the hill. There’s bakery/cafe where you can buy breakfast or fresh bread and sandwiches to take on a picnic and there’s a small Utile supermarket where you can buy basic supplies. Cathy leaves detailed information on things to do and places to visit, as well as information on how each appliance works. She is also quick to respond to a text if you still have questions.
