We enjoyed the peacefulness of The Flat. It was a great stopover on our trip with beautiful views and easily accessed walking trails.

our stay was wonderful. Everything we needed for our stay up in Scotland. Very convenient for being so close to the train station! Easy to take a quick trip to either Glasgow or Edingbrugh! Would stay again :)

Matthew‘s flat is wonderful. Loved all of the details and extra touches. The breakfast that is included was very helpful and convenient. The iron in the flat went out one day during our stay. Matthew dropped off a brand new one very shortly thereafter. Great communication. Very thoughtful and kind. Highly recommend.

We have just returned home after spending 5 fabulous nights at Hayfield. We checked ourselves using the key safe and our host, Richard popped by about an hour later to greet us and pass on some very useful tips and to make sure we were happy with everything. It was lovely to be greeted personally and to know that Richard lived very close by if we had any problems. The bed was very comfortable and there was an abundance of hot water. I loved the induction hob ( have one at home) and the big fridge/freezer was fab. The use of the driveway and outside space was a real bonus. The garden at the back of the house is a real suntrap! Richard supplied us with a key for the garage to store our bikes and even came around and put them in there himself to make sure there was enough room for them. The Forth and Clyde Canal is less than a minutes walk away and the Kelpies about 1.5 miles. Lots of cycling opportunities straight out of the door too. We would be very, very happy to stay here again.
