Cabin vacation rentals in Exeter

It was a beautiful & peaceful place to stay the host was very friendly & showed us the way to our cabin & asked if we needed anything/how’s it going when we saw him about there was only internet near the office but having no service provided us with a much needed getaway & break from everything the cabin was very private with stairs leading up to it & was an older cabin but in wonderful condition it looked just like the photos & the bed was so soft aswell as the pillows all we could hear in the morning was birds which was lovely. At this resort the river is in walking distance & camping was available which had toliet amenities the drive down had ruts from water running down the gorge so I would advise a higher/bigger car if you only have a small/low car try to take it easy we also saw a big goanna on the way up which was cool to see would stay again thank you so much for the wonderful stay

What a fantastic location. It was a very nicely fitted and comfortable accommodation. Very clean and the host was very responsive.

Great location, way to get there can be difficult if you don’t have 4 wheelers

It was a bit too far remote for a one night visit but for an extended stay for people who want to get away from it all and back to nature, it would be perfect. Katina and Manuel were lovely hosts who couldn’t do enough for us.

WOW! This place was beautiful. If you are after tranquility and isolation this is the perfect place. The view is just breathtaking, the space is inviting and as a bonus we enjoyed visits from wombats, a wallaby, possums and a number of birds. We stayed 3 nights and didn’t leave once, although we had planned to duck out to Berry for a lunch, we didn’t want to leave. Well worth the trip!

This is a perfect country get away for a family. We absolutely loved it and the fact we could bring our dog. We enjoyed long walks and saw wombats on the property, during the evening it was fantastic to sit around the fire place.

5 Stars – We absolutely loved our stay at Billabong Cottage in beautiful Kangaroo Valley! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cottage is incredibly cosy, with a super comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the space that made it feel extra special. Victoria, our host, was warm, welcoming and very helpful—nothing was too much trouble. The surrounding bushland was teeming with wildlife, which made for a magical, uniquely Aussie experience. Despite feeling a world away, it was still really easy to get around and explore the local area. Peaceful, charming, and immaculately presented—Billabong Cottage is a little slice of heaven in Kangaroo Valley. We couldn’t recommend it more highly and can’t wait to return!

Incredible! We had such an amazing time at this beautiful place! The view was so breathtaking and there were lots of fun activities to do. The cabin was clean, comfortable and the bed so comfortable. Didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend to anyone!

Had an absolutely amazing stay - 2 families with 4 toddlers and loved every second. The house is beautiful, and so well stocked. The grounds are fantastic - so much to do and explore, loads for the kids to do. One of the most welcoming and unique airbnbs I’ve stayed at - if anything even better than the pictures and descriptions. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful place! Waking up in the crisp air, hearing the river,and local birds each morning. I had a very relaxing and peaceful stay that was the perfect retreat from a busy wedding in Berry. Alison is very friendly and met me on arrival, but the location is extremely private and easy to access. I love a country getaway and this was one of my favourites.

Ambie Cottage was one of those places where we wished we had booked more than one night. Everything was immaculate. The king bed is super cosy and comfortable. A kitchen with everything you need and an unexpected array of breakfast items including deligthful treats for both us and our dog. It’s a lovely property to stay. Thank you so much Amy.

We had a great stay at Karen and Terry's place. The cabin has a magical feel about it with beautiful peaceful gardens outside. There are so many different spaces to relax and Karen added extra touches such as personal welcomes, fresh flowers, coffee and plenty of basic supplie etc etc. Would recommend a stay here.

Loved our stay! Cute, cosy cabin right by the beach and it was all we needed for our stay. Mel made sure it was super warm with a heater and extra blankets which was perfect for our winter stay. Would stay again, great value for money!

Absolutely stunning! Even more beautiful than the photos - the veranda view is gorgeous. Really cosy interiors, beautiful bathrooms and the whole property smells amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The Shedio was an amazing place to stay at. It was very clean and quiet and the views were simply stunning. We were allowed to check in early as well which made it very convenient for us. Highly recommend Rowena’s place and will definitely stay at again!!

We had a wonderful, relaxing few days at the cabin and were greeted with an echidna, kangaroos and wombat within hours of arriving. The cabin was just what we needed to be self sufficient and very clean and comfortable. Waking up to such a peaceful, serene natural environment was magical and the tennis court just a stones throw away was so fun and well used. The restaurant in the golf course was excellent and walking home under the stars through the course felt so special. One thing to note is the cabin has other cabins on either side just a few metres away so it’s not exactly secluded but it was still a very quiet and tranquil place and this may work out well for families looking to travel with friends. We enjoyed our stay immensely! The cottage is styled beautifully and equipped with everything you could possibly need or want. Position was perfect for those who enjoy a short stroll into the Main Street, which hosts an amazing amount of eateries. Thank you to Rachel for our welcome gift! A perfect place to stay for those wishing to relax, and enjoy all that the region has to offer. Highly recommend!
