Pear Tree Cottage

Enjoy a peaceful country retreat in the heart of the Highlands surrounded by nature at its best. This spacious, newly renovated, two-bedroom cottage is a separate dwelling situated on 5 acres of parkland that can sleep up to 5 people. It has a kitchenette (please note: no oven, but have a small stove), comfy lounge with a cosy warm fireplace for cold nights and is just a 5 minute drive to Bundanoon village. Pear Tree Cottage gets its name from the ornamental pear trees that line the driveway.

There is ducted air conditioning, fully appointed kitchen, open plan living dining, concealed laundry, outdoor dining terrace, swinging seat and BBQ. Perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4 or 5. Contemporary country experience Enjoy the simplicity and restoration that rural peace offers without getting your hands dirty (*unless you want to!). This design inspired cottage provides a place for up to 6 people to take in the sunset sitting by the open fire, then wake to collect fresh eggs and watch the horses, cows and kangaroos graze, or wander down to the creek for a picnic. The cottage is fully enclosed in a fenced area 800m2. We have changed the fencing so none is electric.

Surrounded by lush farm land the property has wonderful views of the nearby bush and from the back deck complete with BBQ you can listen to the sounds of neighbouring animals, including sheep, cows, alpacas. Why not take a picnic lunch into the bush and enjoy the surroundings.

While 'house' might be a stretch for this cosy studio-style room, it does have separate facilities. There's a separate "kitchenette", shower and toilet. IT HAS ONE KING SIZE BED and ONE SOFABED. The sofabed is charged at an additional $20/night. The Little House has everything you need for a short stay in The Highlands! * The property welcomes gentle, well socialised pups. The Little House backyard is also shared by my super friendly dog and ewe!

The Shack at Bimbimbi is well appointed, private, and is situated on 5 acres, 40 meters from the main house separated by gardens. There is a box fire and heating for chilly nights. A great getaway, close to walks in Morton National Park, Bundanoon, Exeter Village and a short drive to Moss Vale and Bowral.
