Raul was a very accommodating host. Communication was very good and queries were answered quickly, allowing us to check in a little early with our very tired baby. Everything had been thought of. There was a travel cot in the room, milk, pastries and hot and cold refreshments. The room was immaculate with lovely facilities and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was quiet but there were bars and cafes within walking distance and a lovely child friendly restaurant less than 5 minutes drive away. Would be first choice to stay again if in the area. Highly recommend.

Authentic house in a very quiet environment not overlooked. Very pleasant stay in a beautiful area with lots of walks for those who like to hike with elevation. Very well located house close to Biarritz, Spain, the ocean and the main Basque villages... We'll be there again.

A very pretty village, a little isolated in the mountains. Very nice, clean and well-equipped accommodation. We discovered beautiful hikes and lots of things to do in the area. Ibai is very welcoming and gives good tips! We might come back:!! Thank you!

For anyone going with dog(s). Two long walkable paths along the river for your dog(s) just across national road (50-100) from the house itself. Izaskun is animal lover, and she is super tolerant in that sense. The yard in front of the house has wall so if your dog is not cangaroo you are good. Everything about the place is more that good, not to write more superlatives than all 5 star notes I left to Izaskun. Nice weekend - we will probably repeat.

More pleasant stay in a beautiful setting. Dominique is a very welcoming and very responsive host, an experience to be repeated without hesitation.

We spent a very relaxing 9 nights at Jose’s place (family of 4 with 2 children). Very lush and peaceful surroundings, very clean and comfortable accommodation with a huge bath and seemingly endless hot water. The freshwater pool is fabulous and we had it to ourselves the majority of the time. Great base for exploring the caves and beaches of Cantabria. There are a lot of local non-touristy restaurants with delicious food & wine to enjoy too. Just check opening times. Jose is a perfect host. Not intrusive and always on hand if you need him. Highly recommended and hope to go back one day!

We had a great time in this peaceful little corner of the countryside. The setting is beautiful and very quiet. The accommodation is as advertised, clean and comfortable. Very friendly and responsive host!

Stunning place and would definitely come back. The house is self cooling however does not have a traditional air conditioner that allows you to adjust temperature. This wasn’t an issue however it is something to be mindful of if you are very sensitive to heat. Overall the place is an oasis unlike any I’ve stayed in before and the wineries and towns surrounding it are amazing.

One can see the love and energy that was put into the house and we appreciated your warm welcome and fell ourselves immediately at home once we arrived. The house is in a very quiet and wooded area, it has everything you need to have a pleasant stay, a good kitchen, large living room, spacious outdoor space and pool. Iñigo is very attentive to his guests and always responded quickly and kindly.

A magnificent place beautifully restored. Lovely grounds with an outdoor kitchen area under cover and the pool an added bonus. The views were just fabulous. Elena responded quickly to every message. Hopefully we will return for longer next time .

You need to Meet Joseba nearby and then you drive behind him up a mountain on a narrow road of 1200 m, where you bridge 185 meters of altitude. So pretty steep. But you get something in return. A mountain hut with a beautiful view all around.

We had a splendid time in the cabin and its surrounding and were really impressed by the beauty of the nature around it. The views are so spectaculair! The given tips for things to do in the area were really good and much appreciated. Nick and Kate are wonderfull hosts!

Perfect accommodation, spacious and functional. Great location for those looking for calm. 10min walk to the village. Mikel takes care of his tenants. Wine and cookies as little touches upon your arrival. Always very available and pleasant. We'll be back without hesitation.

Paul was a very helpful & communicative host, he was proactive & gave us many tips of what to do & eat in the town. If you are looking for somewhere to stay that is largely off the tourist trail you could do worst than to stay at Paul's accommodation. This is a town where you can see real Basque people living authentic lives & not just another tourist trap.

We were very comfortable, comfortable and clean apartment, the street below has a lot of atmosphere, bars, restaurants, ice cream parlor, parks for the kids... the kids had a great time, Samuel attentive and very kind, that's how it should be. Thank you for everything!!

We loved the location and the stay. Unfortunately, we had a whole week of rain, but as soon as the sun shines, the beach in front of the cottage is really very beautiful! We were allowed to bring our dog and the neighbors also have dogs, so they could play together. The cottage itself really has everything you need! Thank you for the good care.
