I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this home. Perfect for groups or families and the house had everything you could want to make you feel at home. The location is perfect if you plan to visit multiple French and Spanish cites. Very great location close to beaches and restaurants. We would definitely like to come again!

We just spent 10 wonderful nights here. What can I say apart from it was perfect. Yves and Scarlett are great hosts. They are on hand if you need them but very discreet the rest of the time. The barn is very well equipped and has everything needed to self cater. The grounds are amazing and kept in fantastic condition - we regularly used the pool and hot tub. There are 4 resident donkeys, a small dog and a cat. All are lovely - the donkeys are a pleasure to watch. We went out to a town called Salies de Bearn and would highly recommend it for nice scenery, cafes, bars and restaurants. There are supermarkets and bakeries in nearby towns. The hosts are great at making recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back ☺️

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans la maison de Kamel. Elle est localisée dans un environnement agréable, à proximité des plages à pied, possibilité de rejoindre facilement le centre ville de Saint Jean de Luz en bus (très réguliers) ou en voiture, la maison est superbe et très bien équipée! Je recommande ce logement !

We thought the villa was perfect for our little girl's weekend! Local taxi firms were very accomodating over text message as we could not speak spanish so we were able to Google translate and message them. (uber doesn't work in this area) The local GoT attractions do require booking to visit - which we did not realise but that was due to our own lack of foresight. The host was amazingly responsive, the water system was running cold and she was there within 20 mins to reset the boiler to get us hot water and to help us understand the cooking system. The villa itself was beautiful and the surrounding area was so beautiful to just sit and enjoy. Plenty of space in the villa and multiple bathroom and showers for larger groups of people. I would mention that having a car is essential to stay here for the local shopping and the check out process of disposing of the bins down the road.

Tout était parfait , super logement et hôte

Un séjour tout simplement parfait ! La villa est idéalement située à Capbreton : proche de la plage, des commerces, des pistes cyclables… tout est à portée de main. La maison est superbe, très bien entretenue et équipée avec absolument tout ce qu’il faut — on s’y sent comme chez soi dès l’arrivée. Mais ce qui a vraiment rendu notre séjour exceptionnel, c’est notre hôte : d’une gentillesse incroyable, toujours disponible et aux petits soins pour que tout se passe au mieux. Son accueil chaleureux a vraiment fait la différence. Nous recommandons cette villa les yeux fermés et espérons y revenir très bientôt !

An absolutely stunning property, with everything you could possibly need for a home away from home stay. Fantastic pool and pool house as well. Large kitchen/ dining/ living area meant that even with 8 adults staying it never felt crowded. Fresh baked goods left for our arrival as well as complementary toiletries. Tania and her husband were so helpful even arranging an early check in at the last minute. Genuinely is only 15 minutes drive from Bilbao and the beach, although bus stop is only a short walk away. Couple of restaurants in the local town are a short walk away. Comment from a past visitor about security cameras was over exaggerated, there is one camera pointing at the back of the garden and not into or around the house. Also felt very safe as there is the regional police headquarters behind the property 😂(but doesn’t overlook it at all). We will definitely be returning to this property and to beautiful Bilbao.

Für uns gab es nichts zu meckern. Ein schönes Haus in einer ruhigen und besseren Wohnecke. Die zentrale Lage zum Strand und zur Ortsmitte super. Vorab haben wir viel Informationen von Maria erhalten und beim Empfang lief alles wunderbar. Wir waren 2 Wochen da und da das Wetter wechselhaft war war das grosse Haus super. Der Garten mit dem alten Baumbestand sorgt für Schatten und die Abendsonne schön für einen Sundowner. Unser Hund fühlte sich auf dem voll eingezäunten Gelände auch sehr wohl. Also wer in diese Ecke möchte mit Hund - oder Kinder denn der Keller ist voll mit Kinderspielzeug - ist hier richtig. Danke- liebe Maria- dass wir in eurem Haus sein durften.

Experiencia insuperable: nos sentimos desde el primer día como si fuera nuestro hogar. Nunca habíamos visto una casa tan limpia, estaba impoluta y no debe ser fácil con lo grande que es, tiene mucho mérito. La casa es preciosa, con un jardín muy agradable. La cocina tiene de todo, así como el resto de estancias, no hemos echado nada en falta para poder vivir ahí. Nos ha gustado la ubicación, la idea que teníamos era estar en un lugar tranquilo. La playa se Laga está a 10 minutos en coche y es preciosa. Ojalá podamos repetir, porque las vacaciones han sido maravillosas.

We had a lovely week here. Although the accommodation is attached to the house it was very private and quiet. The view is beautiful with only a couple of far away houses amongst a sea of trees and green. Shops and restaurants are only a short drive away. The pool and outside space is wonderful. We would highly recommend it.

Je n’ai pas trouvé de 6eme étoile ! Tout était parfait. Accueil au top et maison paisible au possible. Tout était réuni pour que le séjour soit parfait et il l’a été. Merci Amélie, nous espérons pouvoir revenir pour de prochaines vacances.

We had a lovely stay at Maialen's place. It was the perfect location as we spent some time in San Sebastian, Urdaibai, and finished up our trip in Bilbao. The house had everything we needed and we especially enjoyed having breakfast and dinner at the outdoor table. Thanks, Maialen!

Logement extrêmement bien situé à 2 pas de la plage, quelques bar en bord de mer à proximité. Centre facile d’accès en voiture. Le logement est très propre, fonctionnel et calme ( malgré la proximité du camping ). Petit bémol avec escalier non sécurisé ( logement au premier étage ) et 2 fenêtres dans la chambre sans volet qui ont nécessité un peu d’adaptation avec un bébé marchant. T re s bonne communication avec Paul. Nous reviondrons avec plaisir.

We loved staying here and Sopela was so beautiful. A great spot to stay for a week or more and Gaizka - the host - was very helpful! We hope we can come back!

We were met with very friendly and welcoming hosts, Felipe and Elena. We immediately felt at home in their beautiful spacious house, garden and terrace. It's situated close to everything, the beach, the town, restaurants etc. it's all in walking distance, which was great for us and our 2 dogs . Also it's only a short drive (or take a train) over to Spain . There is so much to do. Staying in was also a treat with the terrace with bay views watching sunsets and the secluded private garden with BBQ and lovely garden lights or just simply lazing about sunbathing on the sun loungers. Our stay was a complete joy from start to finish , no complaints whatsoever. Thank you so much Felipe and Elena for your kindness and for our stay in your wonderful house. We had an excellent month-long stay! The location is fantastic—peaceful yet close to so many activities. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, making our stay very comfortable. Despite visiting in winter, we stayed active and had an incredible time. We went surfing, horseback riding, and even took a discovery flight at a nearby airport on a small aircraft! The ocean is about 8 km away, which is perfect for runners and cyclists, as there are plenty of well-maintained paths to explore. If you’re looking for adventure or just a quiet retreat, this place has it all. I highly recommend it and would love to come back!

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve dans la maison d’Antony et Stephanie. Elle n’est pas tres grande mais super équipée et pleine de charme. La véranda et son grand canapé sont une invitation à la sieste. La grande terrasse sous les pins est aussi très agréable. Nous avons également apprécié l’accessibilité des plages à pied en traversant le golf et la possibilité de location de vélos très facile. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir
