Vacation rentals with a patio in Estômbar

We had such a beautiful stay, this place truly exceeded our expectations. The view was absolutely breathtaking, especially with the nearby river on one side and the city on the other, which added a unique charm and calmness. The location was perfect — everything was easy to find, and so many great restaurants were just minutes away. Despite being so central, the area still felt peaceful, safe, and serene — like a true home away from home. The apartment itself felt very luxurious and welcoming. Everything was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully arranged. A big bottle of water was already waiting for us, which was exactly what we needed after arriving in the middle of the night. It was clear that great care was taken to make sure guests feel comfortable and cared for. We genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay and were honestly sad to leave. It was such a special experience, and we’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

We loved staying here and the home was as described. The hosts where very responsive, and the sofa folded out bed was comfortable (as was the other bed).

Bij aankomst kwam Ricardo en zijn vrouw Patricia ter plaatse met de sleutel. In het app stonden verschillende welkomst geschenkjes klaar ( koekjes,chocolade,fles water,fles fruitsap,koffiepads,theebuiltjes, en ook 2 pastel de nata. Voor de wasmachine een waspod en voor de afwasmachine een tablet voor afwas. Het app is op de 18 e verdieping en bevat 2 balkons. Dus zowel ‘‘s morgens als ‘‘s avonds zon op het terras. Niet te vergeten een prachtig zicht over de oceaan. Praia da rocha is zeker een bezoek waard en boek dan vooral het app van Ricardo. Beneden is er een zwembad aanwezig met relaxstoelen en ook voor de kinderen een verwarmd zwembadje. Ricardo en Patricia zijn super vriendelijk en zeer bereidwillig. We hebben echt genoten van hun topappartement en vooral van de hartverwarmende verwelkoming.Als we nog eens terugkeren naar Portugal, Praia da Rocha, verblijven we met zekerheid bij Ricardo en Patricia.

Wir waren zu zweit mit unserem 9-monatigen Baby in der Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft war super sauber und das gilt auch für das Babybett. Andy hat uns sehr nett empfangen und es gab ein paar kleine Getränke als Willkommensgeschenk. Der Pool war ebenfalls toll und von dort hatte man einen tollen Blick über den Ort. Besonders hervorzuheben ist außerdem, dass die Ausstattung wie Küchenutensilien absolut top waren. Von scharfen Messern bis Waschmaschine und den Alltagssachen wie vorhandenes Olivenöl, Salz und Pfeffer. Die Gegend war sehr ruhig und das könnte ein kleines Manko sein. Denn zu Fuß etwas zu essen oder einen kommerziellen Supermarkt zu finden ist quasi unmöglich.

The apartment was really nice, the beachy clean minimalist decor was lovely, lots of attention to detail. Stunning place. Looks exactly like the pictures. Balcony is small but enough space to eat and 4 people to sit round. Aircon in every room, nice bathrooms and kitchen with utilities. The place was immaculate, they even came and cleaned half way through our trip which was nice. Although we didn’t know this was going to happen so a heads up would be nice for next time. The location is great and close to old town and the beach, a bit noisy at night though with old town pubs and clubs. Pool was nice and everyone around the pool was very friendly! Seems like a lot of apartments in the building are also airbnbs so lots of guests around! The corridor to the apartment is run down and very darkly lit, with lots of flies too but once you get into the actual apartment it’s lovely. Liliana and Marisa were extremely warm and welcoming, fantastic stay would stay again and recommend to a friend

A fantastic apartment in beautiful location of Luz, short distance from the beach and multiple restaurants and bars. We had excellent communication from David and team throughout booking process, arrival and departure. In particular we received a lovely in person warm welcome from Ray. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Très beau logement à 10-15 minutes à pieds de la plage. Le logement était très propre et bien équipé. Il y avait une construction d’un nouvel immeuble directement à côté, nous étions inquiets pour le bruit, finalement cela n’a pas été un inconvénient mais il bien de le savoir car sur la terrasse donnant sur la piscine, il est possible de voir la construction. Les hôtes ont été très réactifs lorsque nous avions une question. Je recommande fortement.

Nos es imposible describir la amabilidad y la atención que han tenido con nosotros. Detalle de bienvenida, nos esperaron en la puerta, el apartamento super limpio, arreglado, equipado, ubicación perfecta, todo. Son excelentes personas, excelentes anfitrionas y no sabemos qué más decir, imposible ser más atentas y agradables. Volveremos y repetiremos sin duda, la playa está cerquísima y estás cerca de todo. Valorar con un diez está estancia , es poco, tienen que dar un diez con plus para gente como está. Fantástico todo.

We loved our stay at the villa. The garden & the views were amazing. It was perfect for children. The pool had gate, a big plus for security. We liked that there was the possibility to heat the pool (we went end of April - beginning of May). The dining area outside was so nice. The kitchen was fully equipped. The interior design was spotless. Modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, with an authentic feel. You need a car to get around. Everything was close by (5-10 min by car) : beaches, restaurant, supermarket, etc. The host were super responsive. To sum it up : it’s a perfect place for a family vacation!

Probably the loveliest and cutest holiday rental I have stayed in - actually wished we could have spend more down time in the flat, but there is just a lot to do in Algarve! Everything looks just like in the pictures and Carlos and Eileen have thought of everything guests might need. The highlight is definitely the green garden with the outdoor bathtub. The kitchen is also really well equipped. Carlos and Eileen provided an incredibly detailed virtual guide, which included instructions on how everything works in the flat (including video instructions on how to operate the coffee machine, blinds, etc), as well as loads of great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The bed is up below the ceiling, so it does get a little bit hotter there than in the rest of the flat, but with the aircon (which worked well and pretty quietly) it's totally fine.

Tolle Unterkunft in sehr guter Lage, laut Google Maps gut zu finden. Die Bilder entsprechen absolut der Realität – wenn nicht sogar schöner! Alles war sauber, der Pool ist großartig und der Außenbereich wunderschön gestaltet. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit vielen Geräten und ausreichend Geschirr. Ein paar zusätzliche Utensilien wie mehr Salatschüsseln, Salatbesteck oder schärfere Messer wären noch hilfreich. Handtücher waren reichlich vorhanden. Der Kontakt zum Eigentümer war herausragend – super freundlich, extrem hilfsbereit und antwortet blitzschnell. Der Padelplatz in 5 Min. Entfernung war ein Highlight – unkompliziert nutzbar, Schläger & Bälle gab’s vom Gastgeber. Der Kühlschrank draußen funktionierte leider nicht war aber nicht schlimmda innen viel Platz im Kühlschrank. der Pool wurde auf Wunsch wärmer gemacht – perfekt für Kinder. Tischtennisplatte top! Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert – wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Tolle Ferienwohnung ,gross, alles sehr sauber ,Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet,Ferragudo ist in ca. 15 bis 20 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Super freundlicher Empfang durch Maria .Toll war ,dass auch eine Waschmaschine vorhanden ist. Wir gaben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Great value for money and would highly recommend

Wil je een geweldige, luxueuze en toch supergezellige vakantie in de Algarve? Twijfel dan niet: dit huis is perfect. Erg netjes en ruime woning met alle nodige voorzieningen (ook verschillende toiletartikelen aanwezig voor jou), mooie inrichting, erg knus. Rustige omgeving. Geen vakantiehuis, maar een echt luxueus familiehuis waar je gewoon niet meer weg wil. Ook erg ruime tuin (gazon, boomgaarden, ruime oprijlaan) met piekfijn zwembad en ligstoelen/parasols. De ontvangst van Laura was geweldig, niet opdringerig, maar gewoon altijd direct beschikbaar moest je iets nodig hebben (wat voor ons niet zo was, we hadden echt alles wat ons hart verlangde). Tijdens ons verblijf van een week werd er ook tussendoor schoongemaakt (met nieuwe handdoeken), de tuin verzorgd en het zwembad gereinigd. Kortom, had ik al gezegd dat dit huis perfect en z’n geld volledig waard is?

Gerry’s beach house provides the best of both worlds. Three minute walk to incredible beaches and 5-7 minute walk to all the restaurants and cafes in Old Town Lagos. In addition to the location, the house is excellent and spotless. Modern everything with comfortable beds and a great kitchen. We had some travel logistics as well and Gerry was incredibly accommodating and helpful to ensure we had a great time in Lagos. Definitely book!

Our stay at Casa Bombarda was the highlight of our trip—both the unit and Lagos completely exceeded our expectations. The home is absolutely beautiful, with three stunning outdoor spaces, including a rooftop patio where we enjoyed ocean views and unforgettable sunsets. Luis was a fantastic host—great with communication, full of helpful recommendations, and always quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. The unit is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and cleaning, which made our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. The location is ideal: a short walk to the heart of old town and close to amazing restaurants, shops, and beaches. Casa Bombarda went well above and beyond what we hoped for. We’ll always remember our time here and will be recommending it to everyone we know!

Maria was a great host and so helpful with anything requested. We had an issue with the lobby entrance of the building and she resolved this by communicating with the building management. We had a great time in the accomodation and felt relaxed for our week abroad with the children

It's clear that Stacy and Jim take a lot of pride in their apartment home in Carvoeiro and want to ensure the amenties remain in excellent condition for their guests. They communicated in depth instructions for locating the property in town and for accessing the apartment. We had no issues finding the place and there was ample street parking available. The location can't be beat - right in the middle of town within a few minutes walk to the beach. The terrace was where we spent most of our time when we weren't out exploring and we were thankful for the awning and large umbrella that provided shade from the sun in the warm afternoons. The patio furniture and pillows were super comfy and we spent many hours relaxing in this outdoor space. We didn't use the propane grill as we took advantage of the many restaurants within easy walking distance - Villa Medici was a standout! Thank you for hosting our family of four! We loved our time in Carvoeiro.

La localisation de l’unité, la tranquillité et la propreté des lieux étaient excellentes ! La configuration de l’unité permettait à tous les membres de notre famille d’avoir leur espace de tranquillité. La terrasse couverte était un gros plus et nous permettait de pouvoir manger à l’extérieur sans être constamment au soleil. Une très belle plage se situe à moins de 5 min en voiture et la route est très bien faite pour celles et ceux qui aimeraient s’y rendre à vélo. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir :)

We arrived late after our flight was delayed and Rui was there waiting to check us in and show us around. Apartment in lovely location close to shops, restaurants and beach. We were there with 2 small kids and had great time. Rui was in contact during the week to make sure all was ok and very quick to reply to any questions. Had a fabulous week here would highly recommend.

The accommodation, hosts, and location were all like a dream—filled with love and beauty. The owners were incredibly kind and caring, always helpful while also respecting our privacy. Our whole family enjoyed every moment, from watching the golfers to driving through the orange groves, and having fun on the trampoline and in the pool. Everything was top-notch. If I had to search for a negative (and I really had to think hard to find one), it would be just the occasional thought of whether a golfer's ball might come flying our way! 😂

Wir waren zwei Wochen Ende Mai in der Wohnung von Pedro. Wir waren zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder (4 & 1 Jahre) und haben uns wohlgefühlt. Pedro war unglaublich freundlichsten hat uns mit allen Anliegen geholfen und sehr schnell geantwortet. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Kaffee, Tee, Öl, Essig und ein Grundstock an Gewürzen war vorhanden, sowie Spülmittel, Waschmittel und Spülmaschinentabs. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit waren rundum zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder!

Logement refait à neuf, absolument impeccable et très agréable en famille. Le logement est très bien situé, en quelques minutes nous accédons au centre historique animé avec ses restaurants et ses rues commerçantes. Le logement est facile d'accès et il est facile de se garer dans les rues adjacentes. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour, je recommande!

We had a great stay in Portimão. The apartment is very nice, we loved the balcony. Everything was clean. Robin and Sónia were available all the time and helped us during our stay! Thanks again 😇
