Located in the heart of the Geopark on one of the village's typical streets, where it is possible to visit the Calvary, it gets its name from bordering the "Tanque da Rua D'Arca" that preserves the memory of the washerwomen who secreted their lives there. Its location allows you to enjoy the historical, cultural and gastronomic heritage of our Village, without needing a car.

Eira Velha House

Small rural stone house restored with private garden and parking, offers tranquillity and a stunning view to Serra da Freita and Frecha da Mizarela waterfall. Great starting point to reach the remote hills of Freita, where you can enjoy long hikes, river baths or simply visit the geological and archaeological sites of Arouca Geopark. Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.
