Vacation rentals in Espiritu Santo

I had a wonderful few days at Santo Seaside Villas and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone planning a trip to beautiful Santo! The location is great - not far from the airport, walking distance to some restaurants, and it's very easy to get a taxi into town (only about 5 minutes away). My room was comfortable, spacious, very clean and, as the photos show, only a few steps from the water and a breathtaking view. It was lovely to sit and watch the waves whilst enjoying the delicious breakfast included with your room. FYI - It's wonderful to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the ocean, but if you're a very light sleeper like me you might want to bring some earplugs as the traffic and chatty dogs can be a little noisy at night! Ultimately, however, what really made my trip so special is Esline herself, who is one of the best Airbnb hosts I've met! She was extremely responsive from the outset and made everything so easy for me - from the initial booking to airport transfers... especially appreciated as I was travelling by myself and this was my first time in Vanuatu. She answered all of my (probably stupid) questions, gave me loads of useful tips and even changed my large denomination Vatu notes for me. As I was a lone traveller it was hard to book onto a tour, but thanks to Esline, myself and two other guests were visited two Blue Holes, Port Olry and Champagne Beach... so much fun and the perfect end to an unforgettable few days. Thank you Esline for fantastic stay... I hope to see you again!

The most beautiful spot right on the water, big homey villa, the photos don’t do it justice, it’s stunning. We liked that it was quiet, felt very private and out of town but close enough to pop in if you needed anything. We went kayaking and saw turtles, paddle boarding in the mornings and snorkelling right out the front door. Dennis couldn’t have been more helpful, booking us taxis, showing us the best snorkel spots, giving us medicine when my partner was unwell!..you’d be reading this review for days if I wrote everything he did for us. Thank you Dennis! We’d love to visit again, it was paradise.

This place is absolute paradise on Santo Island!! We had the most idyllic stay. We enjoyed paddling the calm waters, watching the turtles and dugongs swimming past and drinking fires next to the bonfire. It’s perfectly situated, close to blue holes, restaurants and town if you need supplies. There is plenty to see and do however we found it hard to leave the lounge chairs on the magnificent front deck. The hosts were fantastic and answered all of our questions, helped us to book local taxis and ordered us some local Santo beef (highly recommended!)

Our stay at Daniel's place was amazing!! The beachview from the place was beautiful. You can pre book your airport pickup and drop off and local tours with Daniel. It was nice to hear stories about the island and the local traditions and customs from him. Our personal favorite was the daily breakfast that Daniel delivers which consists of locally grown fresh avocados, papaya and banana. You also get free kayaks that you can use to kayak to Champagne Beach (we didn't go too far since we weren't confident swimmers and didn't want to go into deep waters) The restaurant close by is really good and has a few vegetarian options too. Overall, our stay with Daniel was great and we will definitely be back soon!!

Clarissa is an amazing host. We had a problem with the airline and we had to wait for our luggage to turn up and she accommodated a late check out for us in less than 5 minutes. The house is equipped with everything you might need (even aircon, which was much appreciated this time of the year) and it is within walking distance from all the shops and restaurants. I would recommend 100%.

Wow what a place! Viv's property is a true beachfront paradise. The cottage which is very cozy and comfortable is just steps from a beautiful beach, great snorkeling and the perfect little cabana for sunset drinks or mornin coffee while taking in the view. Viv was very helpful with everything and made out 3 days on Aore a wonderful experience. Akled and Tony (the caretakers) were just amazing too, from the moment we arrived they made us feel right at home and after fishing, cooking and drinking kava together we reall feel like we made some great friends! Viv's place is a must if you are planning a trip to Santo!
