“The beach at Lonnoc is absolutely beautiful. We had it all for ourselves for 5 days. You could hop from the balcony hammock straight into the turquoise waters to snorkel off the shore. The bungalow has a cool outdoor bathroom that you could use for rinsing. We went to the restaurant for our meals where you can have a nice dinner for under 2000 vatu. You can get a beer for 500 vatu. Daniel’s breakfasts were delicious with plenty of bread and amazing freshly picked fruit. We enjoyed a nice meal with Daniel. Daniel can also drive you around for between 4-80000 Vatu per leg of the trip. Make sure to bring plenty of cash if you don’t have a car and have lots of trips in mind. Champagne beach is just 10 min away by foot and worth the trip even though It is hard to beat Lonnoc beach. We could use the restaurant’s WiFi and plugs as the cabin only has a solar lamp and no sockets. Great place to disconnect unwind and relax.”

“Where do I even start.. the moment we stepped off the plane we were greeted by Torquil who helped us with our bags and ensured we had food for the night until he took us in to go shopping the next morning. Torquil and Marianna were amazing hosts who went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable trip! The accommodation was AMAZING, the rooms are mirror images so there was so arguing over the better room. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was ample outdoor furniture to lounge around in. The kayaks were fantastic as we could kayak to dinner or explore the blue holes and islands near by. Highly recommend travelling to turtle/ dany island for a bit of snorkelling. Torquil organised and accompanied us for a day of exploring the island as we were not comfortable driving in our own. All in all we had the most magical holiday - highly recommend to anyone wanting to relax and unwind. We will defiantly be returning. Thank you Marianna and Torquil for making our holiday very special.”

“Bukura Beach House is absolutely wonderful. The fact that it is about 20 minutes from the centre of Port Vila added to its appeal for us. We travelled , ( two retirees) with our teenage grandchildren and older daughter . We all like to cook so the well appointed kitchen was great for us. At the same time there are local restaurants quite handy. With its three separate pavilions everyone has their own space and privacy. What a joy to look from every window into the manicured gardens, lap pool and tidal ocean pool!!! Was lovely to sit on the roomy deck in the evening and enjoy a quiet drink.! The on site caretaker Eki is a real delight. As are her children!! Nothing was too much trouble for her and it was nice just chatting to her. Similarly, communicating with the owner, Robin was easy and she was always happy to give us tips and advice. The information package she emails on booking is extensive and informative as well as being interesting! In short you could not go past Bukura Beach House as a place to wind down a spend time getting to know the real Vanuatu. We will definitely return.”
