We are lucky to be away from the summer crowds, surrounded by our sheep, horses, dogs and Espelette peppers! My husband, 9-year-old son and I had a very pleasant 10 days in Jean Maurice and Eliane's home. We particularly enjoyed the terrace with the barbecue, the beautiful garden and the magnificent view. Nothing was missing in the accommodation: it was even beyond our expectations. Upon arrival, 1 Basque cake and 1 bottle of rosé were waiting for us. Jean Maurice and Eliane are warm and available hosts, always with good advice. We're glad we got to know them during this stay. To conclude: we would 100% recommend this listing :-)

Excellent property for an immersion in the Basque country. The renovation of Filipe's house is very neat while maintaining charm, authenticity and comfort. Filipe was not stingy with advice for discovering the region (sites, local producers, etc.) and was always available and very responsive. We recommend 100% and will definitely be back!

The bathroom features minimalist design elements, including a stone-textured wall and a round mirror over a wooden vanity. A modern vessel sink is placed on the countertop. A shower area and a toilet are also visible, along with a neatly organized towel rack.
