By car, you can reach the Nürburgring, the Ahr, the Ruhrsee or Phantasialand Brühl in a good half hour. Shopping is 10 km away. Dogs are welcome by arrangement.

The entrance to the first stage of the Eifelsteig hiking trail is also in Kornelimünster.
