By car, you can reach the Nürburgring, the Ahr, the Ruhrsee or Phantasialand Brühl in a good half hour. Shopping is 10 km away. Dogs are welcome by arrangement.

This former farmyard is surrounded by meadows and despite its quiet location you can reach the Aachen city center by bus in 20 minutes. The bus stop is a 5-minute walk away. The entrance to the first stage of the Eifelsteig hiking trail is also in Kornelimünster.

The red house is located in the idyllic Veytal between Mechernich and Satzvey, directly on the eponymous Veybach. This allows you to enjoy the special location in the middle of the nature of the old forest worker's house, while being only 900 m from the town of Mechernich. The house is located directly on a bike path and thus offers a good starting point for bike tours in the region.
