If you are interested in hiking, there is the new hiking route "Eifelsteig" only 500m from the apartment. The bus station to reach Aachen´s city center is just a 2 min walk away. Of course families with kids and/or pets are welcome too. Free parking for 1 car and WiFi is included.

There was a slight background noise from the industrial area, but it can be excluded through the windows. The furnishings and amenities are top-notch. We had a wonderful stay with the family. The accommodation is as beautiful as the pictures, super well equipped (especially for very young babies) and the environment is very pleasant. We particularly enjoyed the fresh eggs in the fridge, and the Norwegian bath. Gaelle and her partner were very attentive to our well-being. And we also discovered a very beautiful region. Already want to go back! :)

what a beautiful gem close to the lake and the woods. Easy parking in front of the door. Be careful with Google navigation. The road to the lake is a hiking trail and not a car area. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evening. The wood was already ready and a bottle of wine too. That's relaxing right away.

Jan was a very considerate host and I found the place very convenient for my short stay. It had a basic kitchen and lots of space. I asked Jan to remove a ladder as the place is also used as a photography studio, which he did right away. There was also an iron and Jan brought an ironing board. He also had left water, fruit and a chocolate, which made me feel very welcome.

For the first time, vacation in your own country instead of camping abroad. I was quite hesitant but our stay in Kelpen Oler surprised us very positively. We were warmly welcomed by Ans and Sander with coffee and homemade cake. The beautiful vacation home is equipped with every comfort (great bed, chairs and bathroom) and is sparkling clean. We enjoyed the beautifully landscaped garden and the lovely swimming pool. You have a lot of privacy and hardly notice that you are staying in the garden of the owners. Occasionally they had a nice chat with us and we were also invited out again in the evening. We came mainly for our peace of mind but also made beautiful bike rides and went to Belgium, the Designer Outlet and a tea garden. In the village, there is a frituur and across the street a Grandcafé. And despite the location on a main road, you have all the peace and quiet in the garden and you enjoy the birds. We will definitely come back to this special place!
