Teasdale 2 Bdrm Retreat Cabin

Sweet, comfortable, 2 bedroom cabin (480 sq ft). Sweeping views of redrock and mountains. Elevation 7100. Hardwood maple floors, wood stove. Central heat/air. Fast, stable wifi. No TV. NO kitchen, exactly, but most cooking needs met. A bit small for 4 adults. Quiet. Small outdoor patio with table and chairs. Charcoal grill. Take morning/evening walks in our little hamlet/neighborhood. Day hikes in Capitol Reef Park. Amazing star gazing at night. Local park with swings & jungle gym a block away.

Canyon Wren Haven: A Romantic Retreat for Couples

A couples’ retreat, the Canyon Wren Cottage is sculpted into bedrock amongst pinion pines and old growth mountain mahogany brush. A picturesque erosion sculpted sandstone monolith rises four stories at the edge of the yard, just beyond the cottage. The approach to the cottage from Teasdale Road, is down a short lane crossing through woodland fringed meadow with a wetland on one side and alfalfa cultivation on the other. The backdrop is beautiful rock form, including a large balanced rock.

This river front home tucked in between large cottonwood shade trees with views on all sides of the Escalante Canyon, meadows, cliffs, and river. Hike from the front door to first class scenic wonders. There are natural wonders right out the front door and within an hour's drive. Look for deer and wild turkey in the meadow in the mornings and evenings and watch the cloud shadows change over the canyon walls. Head up or down the canyon into rugged wilderness, and return home to comfort.

Enjoy the many outdoor activities in this beautiful area including hiking, fishing, skiing, ATV, and snowmobiling. This cabin has a wonderful wrap around covered porch with beautiful views as well as a barbecue grill, fire pit, horseshoe pit and hammock. This cabin sleeps 8 comfortably. No pets! No exceptions!
