Great place to get away from your daily routine! Must visit in summer! Lake is literally 3 meters from the house/sauna.

The Latvians have a saying - don't look the husband out of a hat. It's the story of John's house that looks simple from the outside and getting inside into a fairy tale. A great place to relax, sleep and spend time with family or friends.

A magical visit! We came here for a couple days seeking a quiet getaway from our busy schedules, and were amazed at the peace and beauty we found at this place. We enjoyed feeding the deer, relaxing in the hot tub with the fairy lights and candles outside, and just playing board games while sitting on the deck with a beautiful view to the lake. We stayed at this cabin and stayed really satisfied! Really liked that it was thoughtful about all the details – every detail was thoughtful and created a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. Everything about it was clean, tidy and comfortable. We felt at home from the first moment. Definitely recommend this place to others looking for a peaceful and tasteful retreat. Our company of 6 people really enjoyed the stay. Nice house, everything what you need for cooking, sleeping, washing is in the house. Comfortable check-in. All information is sent beforehand, with directions. Very convenient. The sauna is the best, easy to heat up, spacious, perfect view to the pond with water lilies. Really nice fire place, with big, spacious table, cozy lightning in the evening. May be a bit more new/clean shashlik skewers are needed.

Perfect little "chalet" in Latvian countryside. We enjoyed our stay and everything was perfect. Ieva was very helpful and responsive as always. It was our third time and we will come again next year for sure!
