Ideal for work in the area, travelling in & out of Stansted Airport, visiting family, attending events/little getaway. 15 mins drive to Epping Underground & North Weald Airfield 19 mins drive to Stansted Airport via M11 3 mins drive to M11 7 mins drive to Hospital (PAH) 10 mins walk to Tesco, Cafe pub/restaurant 5 mins brisk walk to bus stop.

Historic Old Stables in central Bishops Stortford

The Old Stables are in a courtyard, set back from Windhill, right in the heart of Bishops Stortford, close to restaurants, pubs, cafés and shops. Conversion of a historic coach-house and stables into a self-contained cottage which sleeps 4 or even 5/6 by arrangement. There is a high-ceilinged entrance hall with wood burner. The spacious kitchen is well-equipped. There are two double beds in the same room (one on a mezzanine floor above the other) and a double sofa bed in the dining area.

The annexe is decorated to a high standard. it contains a kitchenette and shower room The bed room has a double bed, cable TV and internet, it also has a small table and chairs enough to eat or use as a workspace The annex very near the station about a 2 minute walk. with really good link to London, Stanstead or Cambridge. There are also local High St with small supermarket, restaurants and takeaways. We are also within walking distance of Superstores and a cinema.

A comfortable studio apartment set apart from the main house with off road parking right outside. Guests have their own front door, and there is a private deck looking out over neighbouring farmland . The studio has a private shower room, fresh towels and sheets are provided. Very peaceful only 5 mins from Broxbourne Station and Harlow Station with links to London and Stansted Airport, easy access to M11 & M25. 20 mins Drive to Stansted Airport, 5 mins from local shops, The Fish & Eels pub and Riverside Palace Cafe are 5 mins drive at Dobbs Weir along the river, both highly recommended. Come and enjoy some relaxation and beautiful views.
