Cottage vacation rentals in English Channel

Debbie’s place is a little piece of paradise, the setting is stunning, the gardens are fantastic and the cottage is warm and cosy whilst also being spacious and really well laid out. We had everything we needed and immediately felt at home. The open plan kitchen into the cosy living room left us all feeling connected, utility space was really useful, conservatory with stunning views allowed us to dine together and relax during the day. Outside area is also stunning for meals on the patio and bbq’s and the hot tub was great to relax in on an evening looking at the stars in peace and tranquility.. there’s a slight walk up to the property across a field but once you’re in the cottage and its gardens it’s worth every step. Great for the dogs too. Loads to do in the area, our highlight was Lyme Regis beach.. many thanks to Debbie and everyone who made us feel so welcome. We would go back to Debbie’s place in a heartbeat!

Lovely stay at this beautiful cottage within Weston super mare. Booked for a birthday celebration and was an excellent choice. Location was brilliant, within walking distance from the pier and beach, as well as a few shops, restaurants and pubs etc. parking also avail on street for free or within a car park- £4 approx for 24 hours which is absolutely fine. Cottage itself was simple yet chic, adding an element of luxury with simplicity. Really lovely decor and amenities. Bed was supper comfy which is important for us. Kitchen was stunning, clean. A huge thank you for the local produce you provided, this was really appreciated and made it that extra special for us. Hot tub was great, situated in the garden and made private with beautiful fig trees and outdoor lights. Was really a special time away. Really great communication from the owners too. Overall could not fault the cottage and would definitely return.

Clare’s place is beautiful, and surrounded by acres of fields. No one on top of you, just peace and quiet. The bungalow is clean and tidy and Clare had baked some gorgeous cakes and left lots of goodies in the fridge for us. It was great having a dishwasher too. Highly recommended. And 100% pre book restaurants as they get busy.

Wow! What an incredible 6 days we had staying at Nicola’s place. It was for my partners 21st birthday and Nicola put up banners and balloons which was lovely of her. We both had the best time, it was both of our first time in Cornwall and we explored so much in the time we was there. Boscastle is an amazing place to stay as St Ives was just over an hour away, Marazion was an hour away, Newquay just under an hour. Even the local beaches and exploring Boscastle was so much fun. It really was a great location, the views, the sunsets/ sunrises everything truly was amazing and we will 100% be back in the future. Thank you so much for having us and as I say we thoroughly enjoyed our first time in Cornwall.

This is an amazing air bnb! We had a wonderful stay at Claire’s place. The place was exactly as described and the small touches like cold Prosecco in the fridge, hot water bottles and dressing gowns made it feel extra welcoming. The location is great, just a small walk to the beach and restaurants / pubs. Claire was extremely responsive host and we would defined stay here again if we came back to Perrenporth!

Absolutely stunning as always. Our 3rd time there and already booked for next year!! Love everything about this place and claire is brilliant host. Cannot wait to go back again 🥰

We stayed at Badger’s Den for the bank holiday weekend. What a great place! The grounds are beautiful and well kept, the pool and spa facilities are fantastic and the cottage itself is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a weekend away. The location is peaceful and away from everything but you are close enough to the town if you need anything. Chris is a great host and couldn’t be more helpful, on hand with great recommendations to spend the weekend. We will definitely be back again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return! Harbour Cottage was lovely and clean and in a perfect location. It had everything we needed and more, the cream tea that was left for us when we arrived was a wonderful touch too. Plenty of beautiful beaches to explore nearby and some wonderful restaurants, we highly recommend!

A great find and in a beautiful setting. The cottage was well equipped with everything you could need. The garden backed on to the nursery field for the lambs and was lovely to sit out in the garden with a cuppa and enjoy the peace. Cottage was immaculate, comfortable and quiet. Lots to do in the area with Weymouth only a 30 minute drive and Tesco relatively close for your essentials. The homemade banana cake was very well received and very delicious! Would definitely book again.

Lovely little cottage a stones throw from the beach in a little cul-de-sac in Worthing town! Perfect for a few days break with the family and the cottage was in walking distance to local amenities aswell as driving distance to Brighton, littlehampton, shoreham etc. which were all lovely towns with lots to do. Claire provided everything we needed and little touches like the breakfast basket and some basics went a long way. Great chequers board also! Garden was small and well kept and nice to sit in the sunshine, parking not always available outside but easy to park round the corner with a permit provided! Cottage is lovely decorated and plenty of space for a family. Would highly recommend!

J'ai passé un excellent week-end de trois jours dans ce Airbnb idéalement situé en bord de Seine, dans un environnement d'un calme absolu, parfait pour faire une vraie coupure avec la vie parisienne. Le logement était impeccable, très bien entretenu, et l'accueil d'Olivier était parfait. Le chemin qui longe la Seine offre de magnifiques promenades avec des paysages très apaisants. Un séjour parfait pour se détendre pleinement.

This is a cosy and charming property, which is tastefully furnished and contained everything you could possibly need (including delicious flapjack!). The area is rural, and perfect for complete rest and relaxation. Melanie was a perfect host - very friendly, relaxed and helpful. We would love to stay here again.

This is the most gorgeous cottage, with a lovely host. The decor and furnishings are of the highest quality, it was spotlessly clean, has an idyllic private garden and epic bathrooms! We had the most marvellously relaxing stay and came away feeling blissfully refreshed. We were provided with all the essentials that we needed, including a lovely loaf of bread and wonderful homemade marmalade. Cuckoo Cottage is a top tier stay.

The Hidey Hole is a beautifully decorated cottage in a great location. It's just a stones throw away from the high street but being tucked away in a courtyard it felt peaceful away from the hustle and bustle. The place was very clean and tidy and had all the amenities you could wish for and more. Jo was a friendly host, easy to communicate with, giving great directions and other tips. The Morrison's carpark tip was very much appreciated, and cake on arrival was a lovely touch, Thank you :)

Nut Cottage was a perfect location for us. We were able to walk to both Lulworth Cove and the Durdle Door, two of the sites that we came to see. There were also lovely restaurants within walking distance (we didn't have a car). Sam and Katie were very responsive hosts when we had questions and they provided a list of helpful (and great) restaurants for us to try. They also gave us a heads up to reserve ahead, which I am so glad we did!

We had a lovely stay here. The area is peaceful and you’re not far from lovely beaches. The local town has plenty of places to relax. Lots of toys and games available at the property to keep kids entertained and the heated pool is a little luxury! Everything was well set-up for us on arrival and Sarah was a great host. Hope we can visit again!

We had such a wonderful stay at this property. It had everything we needed and the attention to detail was fantastic. It was a beautiful cottage that was decorated to a high standard; we felt right at home. James greeted us when we arrived and gave us excellent recommendations and ideas in the local area. James’ family were also very friendly and gave us eggs from their chickens which was a lovely touch. The cottage is in a great location as it is not far to Lyme Regis and other lovely towns! We could not fault this at all and couldn’t recommend it highly enough!!

Our second time staying here and its perfect for the two of us. Plenty of space and has everything you need. Great hosts, provided us with all the information we needed. We will certainly be staying here again, we have family have in the area and are so glad we have found a lovely place to stay.

The property is in a wonderful location situated in a very peaceful area with spectacular sea views and on the coastal path - just as described. The house is well equipped and finished to a high standard - very comfortable and perfect for two couples. There is an excellent visitor information book provided by the host giving very clear instructions about the house and suggestions of things to do in the area. The garden is lovely and well maintained. There is a great deck with comfortable outside furniture and we even managed al fresco breakfasts in early May. Tom was very easy to contact and responded very quickly to any queries we had prior to arriving. He sent a great email in advance of our stay with recommendations for places to visit and to eat. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in The Goat shed for 5 nights for a mini-moon and can't fault it. Easy to find and very clean and comfortable. The welcome pack had tonnes of information and reccomendations for food, activities and experiences in the surrounding area. Open forest, beaches, farm shops and quaint villages all within a half hour drive, but if you don't fancy that, there's plenty thats walkable too. Rachael and her family were very welcoming and friendly, offering us vegetables from their garden and answering our many questions. The surrounding area is beautiful and if you're looking for a jumping off point to explore the New Forest, you'd be hard pressed to find a better one. They also have great tastes in biscuits!

wow wow wow! Our stay at the bakehouse was absoloutly amazing. The cottage was beautiful with amazing views and was exactly how the pictures amd description said it would be. We stayed 2 nights and it felt like home from home with a few little extra touches. Bodiam castle was definitely worth a visit there is a footpath that leads you to the trail to get to it if you don't mind walking it took us about 1hr 30 mins. Julie and Mark provided clear instructions on how to get there. overall we had a perfect weekend in a perfect location.

Although rain got in the way of some of our hikes, I could have been happy just getting cosy and reading.
