The cabin is located in a sheltered and idyllic environment 820 m above sea level, opportunities for cross-country skiing, fishing, berry picking including cloudberries, swimming, mountain hiking. The cabin is located between Store and Lille Hyllsjøen. There is neither TV nor shower, the simple cabin life can be enjoyed with candles, board games and fire in the oven. However, we have a gas stove with oven, gas refrigerator and solar panel. Dogs allowed, dog hair may occur. Fishing licenses can be purchased at the convenience store. Barrier road and groomed year-round road, recommend good winter tires.

Cozy family friendly cabin at Hovden cabin field in Engerdal with views of the lake mountains. The cabin has a large fenced terrace with garden furniture, awning and gas grill in addition to the barbecue area with benches and fire pit on the upper side of the cabin. Rented to adult tenants are welcome to families with children. Dogs allow if it is washed and vacuumed well on departure. Final cleaning can be ordered for NOK 1,800. Historic old forester's residence and small farm of 40 acres. Here you can live in a historic farmhouse. Feel free to search for Forest Ranger Farm on the internet to learn more about our farm. Drevsjø is close to Femund and Isteren, if you like fishing and outdoor activities. And between Trysil and Idre if you want to visit large ski resorts with year-round activities. There is a 250 km snowmobile trail network right outside the living room door, and there is a ski trail across the farm's field. We have a large dog run that you can use if you bring a dog.

Would you like to experience the atmosphere of the old farmhouse on our farm? The house was built in the 19th century, last restored in 1999, where the original timber walls inside were preserved, and the house got a new cladding outside. The furniture is partially old, and you feel like you are going back in time. Still, you have a functional kitchen and bathroom. Here you can enjoy the view of Femund when you wake up. Good hiking possibilities in both summer and winter. You can fish, cycle, ski, pick berries or just relax and find peace.

The cabin is located in a forest with 4 other cabins, and 2 small farms. You also drive through agricultural property with milk production on STN - crew. We live there and rent out the cabin. We are located 750 MOH, and close to both tourist-marked trails, many nice fishing waters, nice mountain peaks. Groomed ski slopes and beautiful mountain nature. Norway's smallest National Park, Femunden, reindeer grazing district, MS Fæmund 2, etc. There is a 42" TV and an Apple TV in the cabin (WiFi and electric car charging by appointment)

Femund Lodge – Cabin No. 2

Femund Lodge offers simple accommodation, and is a fantastic starting point for walks in Femundsmarka and Gutulia National Parks. The place is built up by discoverer and survival expert Lars Monsen. During the season, the place has a staffed sports shop, and on some days with good weather, we open a kiosk on the terrace where you can buy burgers, pizza, and something to drink - full service. 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM. There is also the possibility to rent canoe and packraft in season. In the summer, the historic Fæmund II sails to Elgå.
