Rich bird and wildlife attached to it which is northern Europe's largest freshwater delta: The Islander. Sheep-breading and kurauting can be heard in the distance. The cabin has electricity and no running water. Guests must bring drinking water in 10-liter cans that are sold in grocery stores. For washing dishes and washing you pick up water in the lake. This small social house is situated on the brink of Østmarka national park. You probably will not meet the shy wolf and lynx, but you might see deer og moose. I live here, but sleep in my workshop next door when I have guests. When you are visiting, we share the kitchen and the bathroom, and the big garden. The house is furnished with norwegian design, second hand and hand made book shelves. Book a forest bathing walk if you want 2-3 hours of relaxation. I am a certified forest bathing guide.

The place is close to the Ski Association's trail network where you will find exciting and attractive "view points" within a 30 minute walk.

An old farmyard that has been and continues to be a ski lodge, Christmas gift house and party rooms has now become a unique accommodation. Already in the field when you walk out the door and ski slopes are right outside when there is snow or take an ice skating ride on the water close by. A bike ride goes nicely summer and winter but best of all the beautiful deep forests are full of mystics and beautiful paths.
