The Red House on Cross Lake

This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

The hosts let us know how to contact them in the event that there was an issue that needed addressing. We anticipate other trips to Camden, and when we begin planning, we will check to see if this cottage is available.

Beautiful lake front house with nice pool. We had a great time with our kids. Very clean house, peaceful get away. Not a lot of restaurants or stores nearby which was expected but recommend planning ahead and bringing food, etc. Would definitely visit again.

This home is amazing and beautiful! We had a great stay! The back porch and yard was very large & well kept! This place has awesome amenities, even down to private boat launch! Very well equipped and clean. Owner was very friendly and sent messages throughout our stay checking to see if we needed anything. This is the first air b&b that I’ve stayed in that was this well stocked & equipped. You won’t go wrong with this rental! I’ve already searched for available dates this summer but unfortunately it’s pretty much booked. I can’t wait to see the additional tree house he’s building!

The Lake House

This house was exactly what we needed! We loved the back porch and being waterfront was an extra bonus. Everything was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Beds were very comfy. If you are people like us who spend a lot of time outdoors this is the house to rent. Multiple places on the property to hang out and enjoy being outdoors. Great dock to fish off or just enjoy the sunset. Indoor space is equally as good. Loved the open concept and has a great table to enjoy a meal or play games around. Owner was easy to work with and very responsive.
