The place reached our expectations, was so nice and clean, the reception desk so welcoming and Lynette took us on last minute but her response was so nice and quick. Will be visiting again

A home away from home! We an amazing time, it was the perfect getaway in a great location with beach access which our kids loved. The house was an absolute gem and it was equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The hosts went out of their way to accommodate us which made the experience a definite 10 out of 10!

We were looking for a place in Durban for a few days to serve as our base, for a family of 6. Having found and booked Amanda's place a few months before we were looking forward to the holiday. We were not disappointed. The house and service exceeded our expectations! We felt we had discovered a hidden gem in Durban north. The home was immaculate and we felt privileged to be let into a special space that had clearly had lots of care and attention put into it. The security of the home gave us peace of mind and our family enjoyed the piano, swimming pool and tennis court. Amanda and Rumbi (the housekeeper) attended to our every need and made us feel welcome.

The well equiped house is 100m from a beautiful quiet beach. I could look onto the waves from my bed. The house and garden is serviced daily and is very comfortable for a vacation home. There is an alarm system and access to the village is controlled by the police on public holidays.

We were a group of 8 and the house was perfect for our needs. Lots of space, clean and tidy and was just a great place to be. Highly recommended

What a lovely home, rooms are spacious and clean, and the view is just gorgeous! Rachel who works there is so friendly and helpful, nice having her around. The area is very peaceful. You can see the ocean from most of the rooms and living area. The kids also enjoyed the house, garden and swimming pool. Would recommend this holiday home. Thank you!

The property unit 4 Jimbara at Zimbali offered an immaculate look and also aesthetically beautiful. Lynda was a great host. She ensured we had a remarkable stay and communicated right through prior arrival to departure.

It was the most fun i had this year, we didnt even have to go out. Guys were very helpful and quick to respond. It was clean and big exactly as seen on the app.

This beautiful home right on the beach is heaven. The sound of the ocean and views are incredible. The home is spacious and comfortable with everything you need with lots of personal touches. We loved our stay and will definitely return!

Great place and response host

Ndu's place was a great stay! Plenty of space (there were 7 of us) and generally well kept house. The cottage sleeping area could use a little love and there were one or two things we had to check with the property manager to get working (eg. wifi) but overall its a place we'd definitely recommend and would book again. There were one or two pleasant surprises, like there being someone to clean each day for half the time we were there and that there was beach equipment we could use. Ndu's property manager was always quick to respond over call if we needed anything. My only note is that it would be helpful if the primary contact person via air bnb was the property manager instead of Ndu as she was a lot easier to reach than Ndu once I got her contact number. Thanks for the memories

What can I say except WOW! Started off the day watching the sun rise over the ocean while enjoys a wonderful cup of tea on the two chairs dedicated to Nono and Maxime. We could then walk down to Thompson Bay beach directly from the garden. When a day in the waves was over, a short walk up the steps to the outdoor shower by the pool for a quick dip then a quick braai on the amazing stainless steel braai by the pool. To end it all, going to sleep with the doors open listening to the waves crashing all night! And in the morning, Elizabeth was there to sort out our messy dishes and Russel washed off all the kids beach toys…. I can’t recommend the place enough and hope to be back next year. Thank you Denise and team, truly amazing trip xx

Our stay was incredible and zizi was a fantastic host although we are from the area we hired out the house to host an intimate lunch which turned out great zizi also has a very helpful lady who lives on the property to help with anything you might be confused about thank you zizi we will surely Book again!

Mel’s place is beautiful and open. It’s great for kids as well. The beautiful and aesthetically pleasing home is also child friendly. Mel also has Nompilo who is there to help us with anything we needed and to ensure the place is clean. Having someone there made it easy for us if we had any questions. The driveway is steep so you need to be confident when driving there. The estate is beautiful and has lots of things to do for when traveling with kids. We really enjoyed ourselves there. We enjoyed the estate and access to the Clubhouse and private beach. The unit was clean, modern and had all that we needed. Otherwise great unit and we will be back.
