Apartment vacation rentals in Ellsworth

We loved staying at Lisabeth's place! The apartment is huge and looks just like the pictures. Much bigger than expected. We really appreciated the extra touches to make it feel like home, like a full length mirror, clocks in every room, a luggage rack and extra blankets. The beds were super comfortable too. The location is walkable to several coffee shops, restaurant/bars and other small businesses. We were in town mainly to visit Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Ellsworth was an easy 40 minute drive. Great location to stay outside of the hubbub but still be able to easily enjoy the area! I wouldn't hesitate to book there again!

One of the most quaint and quiet places I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. Very clean, very cute. Ami was always responsive, respectful and quick to suggest somewhere to eat after a long drive! 😉

Can’t rave enough about our stay at Adi’s Mountain View! Beautiful view, cozy and peaceful lodgings, and wonderful host. Tate was extremely kind and patient. The kitchen was well stocked and tidy, as well as the laundry area. We will be coming back!

Keith and Lisa were wonderful hosts! Their place was quiet and relaxing, which is just what we were looking for. They had more than enough amenities and we were a short drive to explore Acadia National Park. We could not recommend their place enough.

Great place to stay! It has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped, everything is super clean and very cozy. It’s located in a quiet residential area with a lovely park nearby. Timothy is very kind and welcoming.

Patrick was a great host. The Hanniford House is very charming. It’s obvious that Patrick loves the home by how well he’s maintained it. We arrived after dark making it a little difficult to get in, but Patrick was right there to help us, so things went smoothly. The neighborhood is very quiet and we felt safe there. Downtown Ellsworth is within walking distance with lots of restaurants and little shops. If you like peace & quiet, and appreciate a well-maintained historical home then I highly recommend Hanniford House and its host Patrick.

Fayranne's place has everything you need and nothing you don't! Easy to find, plenty of space to park, 2 suitcase stands, comfortable bed, big bathroom with great water pressure. My husband and I stayed here to visit Acadia and loved the location. it wasn't too far from Acadia but we also took an evening trip to Portland and Bangor for some breweries. You'll feel right at home, and we would definitely come back!

wonderful location, a few minutes walk to main Street and all the restaurants and shops. The apartment was exactly as described and was extremely well located and priced. would happily stay here again.

Nazrin & Mark were great hosts! They were extremely communicative hosts, providing all necessary information for our stay, and their condo was comfortable and well-stocked. The proximity to Acadia also made this a great place to stay for a trip to the park.

This was a wonderful place for my adult daughter and I to stay while we adventures through Acadia National Park and Downeast Maine. Marilyn was an excellent host and reached out to be sure we had everything we needed. Important features for us were use of washer/dryer, coffee availability, kitchen supplies so we could cook breakfast and nearby grocery and Acadia. Thanks for this experience!

The place was perfect for our family of four. We felt at home and enjoyed our stay. The hosts were friendly and quick at responding. Everything was as advertised. The location up the hill was amazing and we would happily return for a stay here in the future. Five stars, highly recommend the place.

This clean and quiet cabin was really well appreciated. The morning coffee was perfect with cold cream in the fridge. Soft sheets and perfect pillows made for comfortable beds Judy is so hospitable and welcoming too!

Great little place about an hour from Acadia/Bar Harbor. Some things that stood out were there aren’t curtains/blinds on the bathroom window or the patio door so if you like to shower at night it’s a little weird. Also there are a lot of stairs to get up to the loft and the bed is low to the ground. Some perks were that the place was nicely decorated, it was stocked with organic products and linens in the bathroom and had all kitchen essentials, has an office if you need to work, has a nice river area you can walk to down the street.

We had a great stay at the Penthouse! It was a perfect launching point for our downeast adventures in Acadia and points beyond. There was a beautiful waterfront view in a charming small town. The space was cozy, clean, modern and very comfortable for our stay. Highly recommend it.

Tanja’s place was absolutely incredible, I am already missing my time there! The place was spotless, great location, great living space and amenities. Deck was beautiful for nature and stargazing. Tanja was very helpful and extremely responsive. Bathroom was spotless and spacious, and having a washer/dryer was an added bonus. The perfect place to rest and recover from days spent exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia.

Great stay, close to Acadia National Park but outside of the touristy Bar Harbor. Room is nice with a comfy King sized bed, but the bathroom is reeeaaallllyyy small. Like hard to change your clothes in. Luckily the room off the bathroom worked as our ‘changing room’. The inn feels a lot like a hostel with your own room and bathroom - all the public spaces are shared. Nice to have access to laundry and a full kitchen, while seeing lots of young people in those public spaces (which could be a pro or a con depending on your preferences!)

We had a great stay at Open Hearth Inn. Arthur is a great host. We had an issue with door of our cottage not being locked. He addressed our concern immediately and provided us with another accomodation so that we could feel safe at night.

We felt right at home at the Open Hearth Inn. Arthur and his team were very friendly and helpful. The inn is stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay, including snacks and treats for both humans and pups. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub when we weren’t hiking in Acadia. Definitely a great experience!

In a great location for Bar Harbor & Acadia! Arthur was responsive & gave clear instructions. He was very communicative & responsive & I would definitely stay again!

I was traveling with my dog to do some hiking and it was a perfect place. Very welcoming, clean, quiet and close to Acadia. My dog especially loved the dog treats at the entrance. The suite was very comfortable and there was everything I needed in the shared kitchen. We look forward to staying again.

Delightful little room nearby Acadia. Can’t recommend enough. Check the maps before you arrive to find your room!

I can't say enough about this place. Traveling with 4 seniors with mobility problems can be a challenge but Linda was beyond amazing and accommodating. The home had everything you needed and more. I can't wait to be able to come back

Perfect studio. Used the jetted tub, nice and relaxing. Lots of extras (new toiletries, coffee, filters, sugar, etc.) much appreciated and used. The view, esp at sunrise, was stunning. Quiet neighbors. The beach store (pizza, sandwiches, salads, coffee and more) was very good. Just down stairs and one building over. (get there early for their muffins) I would certainly stay here again.
