Come visit our historic 1887 train depot-this beautiful building has undergone a full-force renovation for guests to create memories to last a life time. The Depot is two stories w/ 2 bedrooms on the main floor and 2 bedrooms on the second story. The spacious dining room, kitchen and living room are open concept to enjoy easy entertaining & conversation, whether it be a bridal shower or hunting crew! A great place for large groups, with access to heated dog kennels and wild game cleaning shed.

Foster House - A Gathering Place

The historic Foster House is one of the oldest homes in Oakes. The Foster House was built by a doctor in the late 1800s and the basement was used as an office for his practice. Later in the 40's the house was purchased by A.O. Foster, the owner of the first car dealership in Oakes as well as a gas station. Great little cabin. Very new, 6 bunk beds, hide a bed sofa, kitchen and bath w/shower washer/dryer. On 3 acres w/heated breezeway for dogs or you can bring them in. Full stove and fridge and is right across the street form the Old Schoolhouse Bar where you can get pizza and drinks and meet local farmers to gain permission to hunt! Base of $90 per night, $30 per person per night for each guest over two. $60 cleaning fee at the end of your stay.

Tammy’s listing is exactly as described. We really appreciated the privacy! The kitchen appliances and cookware are in great addition and that’s a huge plus! The beds were comfortable and linens were clean and like-new. It was nice to have wifi in addition to the satellite TV options. Tammy was responsive in her communications and friendly. We plan to book again soon!

Modern Ranch House-Play Garage

Everything was clean and brand new in this beautiful home with high end finishes and fully equipped kitchen. Having the washer and dryer on site meant we could pack lighter and the laundry detergent and dryer sheets provided were much appreciated. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and toilet paper as well as toiletries and hand soap. The showers were hot with ample water pressure. The beds were comfortable, closets had hangers and cubbies for clothes storage. The large sectional was a cozy spot to sip coffee and watch deer out the huge picture window. The hosts were very helpful - communication was clear and timely. I highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to/through Ellendale, ND. It is the nicest rental we have stayed in!

We've stayed here multiple times and always look forward to coming back. The property is set in a gorgeous country setting that’s peaceful, scenic, and feels like a true escape. Every stay here feels restorative. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Everything was perfect for our stay; very clean and inviting, and looked exactly like the photos. We were in town visiting family and were able to enjoy grilling steaks for them, which was amazing. We will definitely be staying here again if we visit in the future.

Propeety was just as advertised. I think Andy is working on some kitchen upgrades as well as blinds so will be interesting to see it if I am ever back there. Andy is quite friendly and even gave me a bit of a lesson on the surrounding communities
