The Shanty is located on private sandy beach on the Eleven Point River- great for fishing, swimming, boating, & floating! If you are looking to enjoy the river and outdoors, you have found the perfect cabin. We are located on the Southfork of the Spring River at Miramichee Falls, conveniently located between Hardy and Cherokee Village (2 miles from each). Enjoy a 350 square foot covered deck overlooking the river. Fish or paddle the river right outside your door. Use our kayaks in the cabin area. Grill out or enjoy a campfire by the river. (This cabin is for adults only for safety reasons.)

This cabin sits on 68 secluded acres near the Buffalo National River, mid-America's premier canoeing/kayaking destination. We are located near Buffalo Point in the lower Buffalo River section. Be sure to review driving directions as navigation apps are not always reliable in this area. You will drive approx. 4 miles on maintained gravel road. There is not a more comfortable cabin for rent in the Ozarks. Give us a try -- you will not want to leave!

Guests will have access to 42 acres of land and hunt stands for turkey, deer, and hog hunting. (Different rates apply FOR HUNTERS). Explore the spring river for duck hunting, fishing, floating, hiking, quaint shops and eateries in scenic Hardy, nearby access to Peebles Bluff Strawberry River rec area, and Martin creek.

The Archer house is just two blocks from main street, one block from the Spring River, a short walk to Mammoth Spring State Park and close to dining and shopping. It has been completely remodeled in fall of 2022 and features many unique and premium features. Including a walk-in tile shower, wood ceilings in part of the house, cedar-clad front porch and more. The house is also equipped with brand new appliances, fast wifi, washer and dryer and more!
