The home sits on 5 acres with amazing views. 30 minutes from The great sand dunes national park! 15 minutes from Sand dunes hot springs. Front and back porch perfect for watching the sunrise and sunsets, quiet get away. There is some equipment on property, We have a shop area in the back of the property we use occasionally but it is a good distance away

This is a cute little carriage house that was fully remodeled in 2016. It has one bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for a total of 4 guests, also a full bathroom and Kitchen. Nearby amenities are Wolf Creek Ski Area, Penitente Canyon climbing, biking and hiking, Del Norte for mtn biking and hiking, Monte Vista Crane Festival, Great Sand Dunes National Park, Hot Springs Pools, hundreds of miles of ATV/Motorcycle riding and thousands of acres of National Forest to explore!

Hi this is KimAnna You will truly enjoy the uniqueness of our hand built cottage as well as our clear star studded sky. Our solar ranch is very peaceful and has been featured in Faerie Magazine, Tiny House, Mother Earth News, Drevo & Stavby (a chec Republic Architectural Magizine) and included in several Cordwood books and dvd's by Rob Roy, Richard Flatau and others. We are open year round. Please note that no smoking is allowed indoors, but smoking of all types is allowed outside ;-)

The Rustic La Garita Cabin

This 1000sq ft cabin in the country with a very rural setting. It is quiet and relaxing, has a wood stove and is close to outdoor activities. Penitent Canyon, La Garita, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, 4wheeling, ATV trails, snowmobiling, skiing (Wolf Creek is 50 min drive). It has a canal running by in the summer. Self-serve breakfast with home-made yogurt, home-made granola, home-made bread for toast, local grown organic eggs, (hot coffee, chocolate, tea) on request.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Easy travel to the Great Sand Dunes, hot spring pools, hiking, off roading, skiing and hunting. Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge within 8 miles. Off street parking allows room for recreational vehicle parking as well. This cozy apartment of 500 sq ft is perfect for 2, but can accommodate 4 with the queen bedroom and the futon which makes into a queen size bed. Monte Vista is a small rural town.

Rio Grande River Unique Place

A cozy tiny little house that is located in the San Luis Valley. The cozy house is located on our family ranch where you are within walking distance of fishing on the Rio Grande River or can enjoy seeing lots of different animals such as farm animals and wildlife. You can put your feet up as you sit on the porch and listen to the Ro Grande flow and immerse yourself in all that the ranch has to offer. Relax and enjoy your stay.
