Casa vigil

First for the practical: this adobe home has old home charm with modern, very clean spaces and fully furnished with full sized appliances, a shower with great water pressure, a very comfortable bed with lush pillows; the host didn’t forget anything you might need but managed to keep “things” to a restful minimum. The hosts are very nearby if you need anything. Now for the reasons why I’ll return again: winding your way up route 76 offers stunning landscapes of high desert, badlands, forests and cultural sites. Driving through the village in Truchas sheds all the stress, you can’t help but arrive open hearted. The hosts are sharing something special, they renovated this home and they know this home generationally. At 8000’ the Truchas Peaks are in full view, the sunsets are seven shades of fire. You can smell the pinions and fresh-sand (I made this descriptor up but you truly will). Everything about this home is warm, glowing, the adobe quiets the space. (My full review is cut!)
A pathway leads through unique landscaping and greenery, showcasing diverse plants and a stone statue. In the distance, expansive clouds gather over rolling hills, while adobe-style structures are visible under the cloudy sky, creating a serene rural landscape.

Inn of nectar

Parmatma's Airbnb was perfect for our weeklong needs and activities. The location was ideal for spending time with family and friends. The kitchen, dining area and outdoor grill allowed us to host several meals for as many as nine people. Parmatma was very responsive and friendly whenever asked. We hope to repeat this wonderful experience at Parmatma's home in the future.
A serene landscape is depicted, showcasing a soft focus on water visible through a cluster of trees. Sunlight filters through the branches, creating a gentle glow over the scene, which features a grassy field in the foreground.

Charming Chimayo Getaway

We had a great stay at Janice's. Everything was ready for us when we arrived. She even left some snacks. The home was clean and cozy and we were glad to have some space to let our furbaby stretch his legs and to make coffee in the morning. It's a short drive to Espanola which has lots of restaurants.

A Place of Refuge, Renewal & Escape

MichelleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was SUCH a beautiful, peaceful and lovely place to spend some time in Santa Fe. There are several areas to be outside (a larger private courtyard with tables, chairs and a grill, a small patio off the living room, and one up a path overlooking the surrounding hills) and all of them are beautiful. It is peaceful and quiet, we loved the step down tiled shower with glass block, and the whole place was comfortable, cozy, and well-appointed. The kitchen has plates, glassware, pots and pans, utensils and some spices along with some bottles of cold water in the fridge. The dining room table is all set out if you want to make dinner or you can eat outside in the courtyard. You do need a car to go here and it is not super close to town but close enough to drive for shopping or breakfast/dinner, but sometimes that is exactly what you need to have that separation. Gina was extremely responsive and it was so easy to get in with solid directions to the casa. My husband and I LOVED it!

La Casita Guesthouse

PeteRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Five star ratings are usually given to easily. Can everything and everywhere we stay truly be the best of the best. I fall prey to this also. The Casita for me was a getaway into a relaxing past. Down a gravel road next door to a small charming winery. You walk through an adobe arched wall surrounding a grassy courtyard. Flowers waiting to grow in the springtime sun. There is a small covered patio to sit and read or paint or just breathe deeply and remember The house is old world charm. Simple yet elegant. The exposed beams are as thick as telephone poles. I fell in love and quickly changed my plans to just hangout and be. The bed was comfortable, living room adequate, and a full kitchen with a gas stove. Saritas dog came to visit me each morning for a scratch behind her ears. There is a small mexican restaurant a couple hundred yards away that must be tried. It even had dipped ice cream. Java chunk! I did not want to leave and will keep a bit it's charm in my soul forever.

La Bonita Ermita

RobertoRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Overall we had a great experience staying at Dave & Lee’s place. The place is small as they mention in the description, but the space works really well in allowing a comfortable stay with great views.. Every photo matched what we were expecting. The location was also great as we were about a 30 minute drive from Santa Fe which was a very easy drive once you hit the highway. If you’re looking to hike, the location of the house is also a short 10 minute drive to Pecos National Park. We did want to note that because the house is located on a mountain, the driveway to the house is very steep which can make walking to and from your car challenging if you don’t have an AWD vehicle to park directly in front of the house. We brought a wagon to help load and unload our luggage which made it easier to carry everything from the alternative parking location up the hill.
A bright kitchen space is highlighted by a wooden countertop and a bowl of pears at the forefront. Fresh flowers are arranged in a vase near a window, with light blue walls contrasting against vibrant red cabinets. A range, microwave, and coffee maker are visible on the shelves.

LA Paloma cute studio apartment

Very unique property— charming spacious historic studio. We drove in late and left early the next morning. Kathryn was helpful recommending places of interest and shared local area history. Wish we would have stayed longer.
