My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this place!! The home is beyond beautiful and we enjoyed having two floors and access to anything we needed. The location is the shortest walk to the beach with gorgeous views and surf lessons in close proximity. We would stay here again!!

We had a wonderful stay in Popoyo in Isabelle and Petrona's accommodation. Peteona was there to welcome us, we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The accommodation is very well-equipped, located by the beach with restaurant and grocery store, everything is done on foot without problem. Directly next to the popoyo republic so we can play music but nothing very intense. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we'll be happy to come back!

For slow travellers and and those who enjoy the simple life, Dale's is like a tropical home away from home. Muchos gracias, Dale!

Beautiful place and at walkable distance to the beach. It was pretty close to different attractions nearby. Jose, the caretaker was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the price and we will definitely stay again when visiting Nicaragua.

Amazing Beach House! This place is absolutely wonderful. The house itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the location is spectacular—perfect for anyone who enjoys privacy and relaxation. It's just a short walk to some fantastic restaurants, which made our stay even better. We had such a great experience and will definitely be visiting again!

The host Mary Jane was absolutely amazing. The Airbnb was beautiful, the photos did not do it justice. The house was roomy and the decor was very nice. It was in a closed off gate and private with a guard on duty every night. Mary sent so many awesome recommendations for us to go and eat. She even arranged taxis for us and was super responsive. She was very nice with my family and personable, she remembered every little details about them and accommodated my grandmother. I will definitely be back and I couldn’t recommend her enough! 10/10 experience

We had a great stay at la Bahia! Spacious home with nice pool only a few steps from the beach and town of San Juan del Sur. Special mentions to Veronica and Feliciano for always being available for our questions and needs. Be careful with the electricity usage. We had to pay a fee for exceeding the electricity allowance. We would come back anytime!

We’ve stayed at many houses in Hacienda Iguana and this house was by far our favorite. It’s got an amazing layout and gorgeous furniture + comfortable beds. But I’ll always remember the spectacular wrap around screened in porches on both levels. We stayed with our 4 month old and it was so beautiful to give him his midnight bottle in an Adirondack rocking chair on the screened in patio off the main bedroom…precious ‘new mom moments’ under the moon, stars, with the sound of the ocean (you can hear the waves at Panga Drops surf break). The property is located directly across the dirt road from the most secluded part of the beach. We had gorgeous evening walks at low tide sunset and came home to cook dinners in the well appointed kitchen. We had coffee by the crystal clear pool in the mornings and really enjoyed being walkable to Rancho Santanas Taqueria + the cute restaurants in Iguana. Bonus: we decided to elope! This was my family 2nd time to Nicaragua and we have also traveled internationally quite a bit, it was an 8, 9, 14, 17, 23 and two Parents, we never felt cramped had plenty of indoor and out space, the onsite staff is more then you could ever ask from from needing help with the simplest thing to having Marina make you breakfast or dinner in that case, Which you will not regret, the house is very private no one bothers you & one of the best parts is the puppy Petey who wants nothing but love and snuggles from whoever stays there.. Definitely plan on staying again.

This place was even better in person! We really enjoyed our time there. The view over the town and ocean is absolutely beautiful, and the infinity pool made it even better! — we spent a lot The casita was ideal for our daughter, brother in law, & mother — it gave them their own space while still being close by. The kitchen had everything we needed and more! We really appreciated the basic spices, oil, coffee, sugar, etc. that were provided. Cheryl was helpful with arrival instructions & recommendations for the best happy hour & nicest beach with hammocks. The location is the best we have found so far! We won’t hesitate to return.

Casa horizon is THE best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. Amazing people surrounding the house and community with a perfect beach and a beautiful wooden house. The balcony is amazing and the rooms are perfect to accommodate

I could live in this place. As soon as we entered I felt right at home. Great air conditioning in the bed room. All the things you may need in the kitchen. A private outdoor space for hanging out and drying clothes. Would certainly stay here again.

Martin is a superb host. Very responsive, nice, and accommodating of any need - such a nice person that makes you feel like your stay is the most important thing. The place is amazing. It's small and cozy, with good airflow and AC at hot times. There is a great garden with a big tree for shade, comfortable beach chairs, a hammock, and a shower. The water is 20 meters from the door, and it's a short 15-minute walk to Bigginers Bay and Santana and 2-5 minutes from several restaurants and a grocery shop. We came by car with a toddler and enjoyed the time. It is great for surfers who want to surf the area, beginners who want to learn in the beginners' bay, and people who want to stay in front of the water in a relaxing place.

Beautiful serene spot and only a 10 minutes walk from the centre. The space was called "cueva" or "cave", which is a great description for it. A naturally darker bedroom with very comfortable bed, and beautiful shower with stonework. You get a private patio equipped with dining table and hammock surrounded by the gardens. Jan-Luc was responsive and helpful at every step along the way. If you are planning to take advantage of the kitchen, it was a little bit awkward with minimal equipment, so plan accordingly! Overall I highly recommend this place.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is great and there is lots to do, including a beautiful beach that is walking distance. There's a few nice restaurants with fresh seafood and as a solo female traveller I felt completely safe. Timothy was really friendly and helpful and the dogs are lovely companions. Would stay again and highly recommend.

This is easily the greatest Airbnb experience I’ve had. This place is so amazing. I felt like an internet influencer or something. I shouldn’t be able to afford a place this nice, but I can! Went to Nicaragua for a week to celebrate my 40th birthday with 5 friends and this location was perfect! Short (steep) walk to playa remanso, and a slightly longer walk to playa tamarindo, which is less developed and more private. I never wanted to leave. Clean, beautiful, great location, incredible.
