Kid-friendly vacation rentals in El Faro

Beautiful villa up in the hills. Our host Pepe was fantastic -meeting us at a pre-arranged location and driving with us directly to the house despite a very late (2am!) flight arrival. The gardens and land around the house are beautifully tended and Pepe took great pride showing us around and we benefitted with fresh grown beans, artichokes, spinach, oranges, lemons….and of course daily eggs from the chickens! It’s approx 15min drive to the nearest towns/supermarkets and 40min into Malaga, but if you want peace and quiet in the middle of stunning scenery then this villa is ideal.

Shops, a couple of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Short 5 minute walk to the seafront and a nice boardwalk to walk along to Cala de Mijas and the other way down to a nice marina with multiple bars/restaurants and beaches to stop either way. Short 20 minute walk into Cala which is a nice small town. Good bus service on the main road below the property so a car is definietly not essential. Around 30 minutes either way to Fuengarolla or Marbella. We experienced no noise from the main road when sitting outside or on an evening in bed. Quiet area as opposed to Fuengerolla or Marbella which suited. Nice clean accomodation in a nice quiet setting. The outside area is very relaxing in a beautiful private garden setting. Franck was very helpful with advice before our arrival and came to see us to make sure evertything was okay and gave helpful information on the local shops. Left us to our devices but was on hand if we needed anything. Would recommend.

El apartamento de Alicia y Alfonso es una maravilla y está a sólo unos minutos a pie de la playa. Hemos pasado 7 días perfectos en este alojamiento amplio, muy limpio, cuidadosamente decorado y con todo lo necesario para sentirse como en casa. La terraza es muy grande con maravillosas vistas a la flora y la zona es tranquila. El aparcamiento es muy cómodo. El trato de Alicia es inmejorable y nos ha proporcionado indicaciones muy claras y recomendaciones útiles. Muchas gracias por todo Alicia!

I would just like to say this place is amazing and juan is an amazing guy. He let us stay because we had a late flight and never asked us for a pen anymore. This has got to be by far the best place. I've stayed there on all my trips around Europe staying at Airbnb's. juan was so helpful given us a device where to eat where to go for Days out his place was so clean fresh and just felt like Home I will be definitely coming back to stay here and I would strongly recommend anyone who's thinking in the coming to this part of Spain to stay at this place my wife and kids after 10 days, don't want to go home all I would like to say to juan yes thank you so much and I loved staying at your place. What a wonderful time we had at Casueña. Alicia and Jorge were so welcoming, helpful, friendly, and fun. They met us at the villa and showed us everything we needed to know, and then were always on hand for anything else we needed. The villa was so well equiped, including basic food, tea, coffee, and fruit to get us going. Also, on the first morning, Alicia and Jorge gave us a basket of eggs from their own chickens! We loved the beautiful furniture, artwork and ornaments which all added to Casueña's charm. Since the weather was hot we spent most of our time in the stunning garden and lovely pool. Beautiful mature plants, shrubs and trees made the garden feel magical, as did the many birds who visited including a familly of swallows. A short trip (about 2 miles) down to the village of Santa Rosalía provided a good supermarket (open every day), cafes, and restaurants. Thank you Alicia and Jorge - you are very special people and we will definitely be back to visit you and Casueña.

So hospitable and quick to respond to our questions . House was immaculate with plenty of space and really well equipped . Great location and we were allowed an early check in and a late check out . Would definitely recommend and we will be back !

Beautiful home in a beautiful location. Accessible to many different beaches and day trips, would highly recommend.

Asunto sijaitsee aivan rannalla, ja suuret ikkunat sekä tilava parveke tarjoavat henkeäsalpaavan merinäköalan – täydellinen paikka nauttia aamukahvit tai rauhallinen aamiainen. Sijainti on loistava: kaikki palvelut ja nähtävyydet ovat kävelymatkan päässä, mutta silti alue on rauhallinen ja hiljainen öisin. Huoneisto oli ilmastoitu, joten nukkuminen oli miellyttävää myös lämpiminä öinä. Kaikki oli siistiä ja hyvin varusteltua. Erityiskiitos Nathalielle, asunnon omistajalle – hän vastasi nopeasti kaikkiin kysymyksiini, antoi hyviä vinkkejä alueeseen liittyen ja oli todella ystävällinen. Jos etsit majoitusta Fuengirolasta, voin lämpimästi suositella tätä asuntoa!

We really enjoyed our stay and wished it could have been longer. The accommodation was really clean and the whole place felt like it was new. We loved sitting on the balcony on the comfortable furniture and enjoying the stunning views- well worth the steps up to the apartment. Parking was easy and convenient once we got orientated and there was always a space when we wanted one. We would definitely return to the enjoy the comfortable and relaxing accommodation and the town was only a short walk away with great shops and restaurants to frequent.

Fantastic place on the sea shore. Place is for people who want relax in the beach without many people around. We was traveling with baby, so it was great that you can fast reach beach or go back home. Also this is perfect place to travel around Andalusia as well. Safe place to leave a car near flat.

Impeccable! Borja est un hôte accueillant et surtout flexible, il a eu la gentillesse de nous accueillir très tard! Son appartement est très confortable, très propre et la literie est excellente! Je ne peux que recommander, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour chez Borja!

Nous avons passé chez Joaquin et José Manuel un excellent séjour !…tout était au top, de la déco à la propreté, en passant évidemment par la superbe terrasse située sur le toit qui était notre endroit préféré, avec tous ses équipements ! Mooi plek om te verblijven. Je hebt wel een auto nodig om de omgeving te verkennen. Ik was met een gezin met 2 kinderen (8-11 jaar). Het uitzicht op zee is fenomenaal! Van te voren allerlei tips gekregen om te doen in de omgeving. Er is veel te doen in de omgeving, ook voor kinderen met deze leeftijd. Mijn kids top 5 (grotten in de Nerja, Mijas, aventura klimpark, karten bij Miramar en zwemmen in het zwembad! Het contact met Alberto was perfect. Fijne uitleg van tevoren en reageert heel snel (meestal binnen 5 minuten).

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument parfait chez Joaquin. Dès notre arrivée, il s’est montré extrêmement accueillant, attentionné et professionnel. L’appartement est superbe, décoré avec goût et en excellent état. Rien ne manque : la cuisine est parfaitement équipée, les ustensiles sont de qualité, la literie est très confortable, les rangements bien pensés… tout est là pour se sentir comme chez soi. Mais la vraie pépite, c’est le penthouse lui-même, un lieu incroyable, lumineux, calme, avec une vue magnifique. Joaquin a été l’un des meilleurs hôtes que nous ayons rencontrés sur Airbnb : toujours disponible, réactif et d’une grande gentillesse. Un immense merci également pour avoir porté nos valises à l’arrivée un geste simple mais tellement apprécié ! C’est un sans faute. Nous reviendrons les yeux fermés. Merci encore pour cette belle expérience !

Reme is an excellent host, and her apartment is exactly what the pictures show- Modern and clean with a fantastic view! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will return again.

J'ai passé un très bon séjour dans ce logement ! L'appartement était propre, bien équipé et fidèle à la description. Le quartier est agréable, calme et bien situé. Il est toutefois nécessaire d'être véhiculé pour se déplacer aux alentours et il est parfois difficile de trouver une place dans le parking de la résidence. L’hôte a été très réactif et accueillant, ce qui a rendu mon séjour encore plus agréable. Je recommande vivement ce logement et n'hésiterai pas à y revenir lors de mon prochain passage !

The apartment was in a great location, with amazing views. Walkable to a lot of great restaurants and there is a little supermarket next door which is perfect for supplies. Host was extremely responsive and very helpful.

everything was perfect except the electricity power. I don't know why, but took hours to charge our phones. However, i believe owners would fix this issue. Definitely recommend this place 👌
