Charming house at the bottom of Monsterrat

A lovely, quirky home full of fascinating artifacts. David is great at keeping in touch. The house is spacious and the garden is pleasant. There is a good bakery / café/ pub just over the square and a good supermarket just a bit further. The walk to the monestry (recommended by David) was challenging but made an amazing day (two hours each way).

Nos hemos alojado un fin de semana y desde el principio, tanto la comunicación como el apartamento, fue de 10. El apartamento estaba limpio y tenía todas las facilidades.

Hem passat uns dies increïbles a Cal Simon, la casa és acollidora i l'entorn privilegiat. En Josep ha estat atent en tot moment i ens ha recomanat activitats per la zona. Recomanem les coves de salnitre!! Pensem que potser ha fet falta algun sabó pel rentavaixella, i desembussar una mica la dutxa de la planta baixa. Gràcies per deixar-nos gaudir d'aquest espai, hi tornarem!!

Bellavista House Montserrat. "Feel good"

Our family of four had a great time staying in Miguel’s house for a week. He was always available to answer questions. And Macu who was there to welcome us on arrival, was equally helpful, even popping over with a battery for a remote. There was plenty of space. The sofa seating outside by the pool was great for reading and playing cards. The pool was large, and the jacuzzi added to the fun. The large picture windows were brilliant for taking in the stunning Montserrat mountains. What a view! That’s reason enough to stay there. But in practical terms, Collbato is a quiet town, with its main claim to fame being the ‘entrance’ to the Massif. The house is on a residential street looking down on the town. The local supermarket had everything we needed and we enjoyed Miguel’s recommendation for the nearby restaurant Vinyanova. It was quite the experience. From the house we visited the Montserrat monastery, Barcelona and Sitges. The rest of the week we were happy to relax at the house.
The entrance features a modern facade with a prominent house number displayed on the wall. A series of mailboxes are arranged beside the entrance, with large glass doors leading into the building. Natural light is visible reflecting off the surfaces.

Neus was super nice and allowed us to do a late check in at midnight. The apartment was very comfortable!!

Maison au calme et très agréable Piscine immense Tout est present dans la maison Les moustiques etaient malheureusement présents mais ca ils y peuvent absolument rien! Climatisation dans l’annexe bien agréable. Je recommande

The view of Montserrat is incredible! The western exposure bathed the apartment and deck in afternoon sun. The kitchen was well equipped and included amenities like spices, oils, vinegars, etc. It was a short walk across the river to town. The train station to Monserrat is a 2-minute walk. It was a great stay!

We kwamen aan tijdens een landelijke strooomstoring, waardoor telefoonverkeer, appen en Google maps niet werkte. Daniel kwam zelf om te kijken of alles gelukt was. Betrokken host, toonde initiatief voor het geven van tips gedurende de week. Het huis is compact, maar toch ruim en stijlvol ingericht. Keuken zeer goed geoutilleerd. Buitenruimte gezellig, mooi zwembad, geheel vrij gelegen tuin , nergens inkijk in de tuin of het huis. Huis ligt op een berg. Het bijbehorende dorp ligt op 7 rij minuten en vanuit daar is Barcelona goed bereikbaar per trein (30’) of per auto. Supermarkt en tankstation aanwezig. Goed uitgangspunt voor bezoeken in de omgeving. Het huis is zeker een aanrader
