Vacation rentals with lake access in Eksjö Municipality

We had a very nice nine day stay at this cottage and were able to enjoy the summer in Sweden. The house is bordered by forest from one side, on the other side is the property of the landlords. Nevertheless, it is not very visible (higher location) and we had our privacy. I liked not being completely secluded in the forest. The nearest shopping in Mariannelund is about 15 minutes away by car. Here we got everything we needed. A beautiful swimming spot (non-swimmer area, toilet) is also not far away. The forest is beautiful. We can recommend a hike to the Övrakulla Sevedeleden observation deck. The view is breathtaking. Vimmerby and the great Astrid Lindgren world is only a 30 minute drive. We found the house very clean and tidy. The kitchen is super equipped. We had a great time with our children (5 and 7 years).

This is very cozy. It has everything you need, including coffee and spices. It was clean and the location is beautiful. We enjoyed the tranquility very much. We were allowed to use the rowing boat at the nearby lake, which we liked very much. Communication with Alvida was great. She was very accessible, friendly and helpful. There was an even welcome in the kitchen waiting for us, which we were very happy about. We would love to come back.

We had 2 wonderful weeks in a great cozy and quiet cottage. You are immersed in nature and yet quickly at the most important sights. The small additional cottage by the lake is a dream we used it and also used the boat every day and were a lot of swimming. Andreas is a great host and was quick to respond to our questions. Clear recommendation! We will be happy to come back. ❤️

We had a lovely stay with Göran and Ingrid. They're incredibly hospitable and welcoming, and the space is perfectly clean, practical, and spacious. There's nothing bad to say. The view is amazing, and we were fortunate enough to be able to help with the sheep, which even gave birth to the sweetest lambs while we were there. We also rented a boat and sailed on the lake - great. All in all, a lovely place with beautiful nature and good conditions.

The house is very nice and cozy with large garden. It is a bit remote but it is very quiet and idyllic. Shopping is not far away in the nearest larger town. Joakim always responded quickly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Had a super nice stay. There is a large BBQ available that worked really well and a jetty with boats. The owner has tips for fish. Especially pike is easy to catch! Ver stay is very spacious and the bed was very nice. Beautiful location, even more beautiful than in the photos!

Stayed about 4 weeks in that apartment and enjoyed it very much. Everything has worked well and Anders was very quick with the communication.

Very clean and beautiful apartment, comfortably furnished and cozy. The place is stunning, right above the city center on the slope, the views were great. The center is close, a short walk away. The house is in a quiet place and it was wonderful to sleep there. A parking space was easily found nearby, according to the host's instructions. The host was in active contact with us and we received good arrival instructions. We are very happy with our visit.

Super happy with our stay. The accommodation was child-friendly, well planned and well thought out. The hosts were helpful and nice. Walking distance to playground and max 10 minutes distance to Astrid Lindgren's World, which was our goal with the trip.

We liked the stay, as it was pleasantly quiet. The bus takes you easily to the city center, shopping was easy on foot. The apartment and garden offer plenty of space to have a relaxing vacation. Unfortunately, we didn't meet Peter in person, but he organized a great representative who immediately helped us with questions.

Cozy little apartment with the amenities we could wish for, the amazing view is really the icing on the cake Per-Anders is a great host, quick responses, and great communication.

Amazing views from Åke's beautiful apartment, which is only 35 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's World. Plenty of space and nice atmosphere. I will definitely stay with Åke again, the next time we are in the area.

The house is relatively isolated in the forest near a lake, very peaceful and quiet. It is possible to go boating on the lake, which is very nice. The sunset on the lake was also very pretty. everything was very quiet and calm, the starry sky with very little light pollution revealed a pretty Milky Way. The house itself had everything you needed, was spacious enough. The bed was large and comfortable, the living room had enough space to eat and rest. The pretty winter garden has a fireplace, which allows for comfortable evenings by the fire. The storage in the entrance was also appreciable. By car, you can reach Eksjö in about 20 minutes (go north for a less rocky road), you are well placed to visit the area. Our only regret was not spending more time in this beautiful place. Christoffer was also responsive if there were any questions, everything went very well.

The small hut is super cozy and we were very nicely received upon our arrival. Due to the exact arrival description, we also found the cottage directly. The lake, including the jetty and boat, are great. Everything you need is there. You have your peace and can enjoy nature. Highly recommended. Thank you for the great accommodation on our trip to Sweden 😊

I came back after visiting back in January. Was in the area for my birthday and kept comparing every airbnb to this place so decided to book it again. It didn’t disappoint during summer season as well. The Nature Reserve is absolutely stunning any time of the year. Love this location!

The description “dream house” was extremely accurate! If you are looking for a perfect time at a quiet lake this is the place to go. We will definitely come back

A cozy accommodation in a very nice location. Lovely pool and clean and fresh in the cottage with a lot of equipment, which makes it easier when you rent a house and do not need to pack everything with you. Very gracious and helpful hosts. I stayed here when I was an exhibitor at the Elmia Wood Fair and had dogs with me. Fantastic place to bring a dog, as there is also a gravel path of just the right length for morning and/or evening walks. Did not encounter any people and hardly any car traffic (early mornings.) Super cozy cottage that has everything you can imagine needing and the hosts were easy to communicate with. Perfect, simply!

As a family of five with a dog, we spent six days in this beautiful, exceptional accommodation and enjoyed it very much. A bouquet of fresh flowers was on the table, nature is wonderful, the lake a pleasure, the various huts very simple but cozy. It's also great that you can grab a rowing boat at any time. It was a lot of fun. Katarina and Lars were very nice, quickly accessible, and extremely helpful and committed.

The house is very nice from them and outside and we in the pictures! We felt right at home. Our highlights were the large terrace and the trampoline for the children. We will definitely recommend the house and will be happy to come back! ❤️
