There is also a boat garage adjacent to the lighthouse, this one is furnished for outdoor coziness and simple dining.

Want to rent our paradise? Our cabin is 3 years old, and is beautifully located at the outlet of the mountain farm in Egersund. The cabin is located west facing, so here you have sun from morning, until late evening. The cottage contains most of the modern amenities. A short trip by boat, you are in the middle of Egersund city centre. There is 1 parking at the cabin ( but possible to park multiple cars in the immediate vicinity ) It is also possible to rent with boat ( summerfun, or one with ) price on request.

The wheelchair friendly cabin is quietly located in the middle of nature, with terraces at the front and back. It is located off a dead end road, about 100m from Eigelandsvatnet, where it shares a jetty with two other cabins. It comes with a rowing boat, a canoe and a pedalo, as well as fishing equipment on request, to catch some of the copious trout. The property borders on Notlandsvatnet recreational area, and is part of Magma Geopark and Opplev Dalane hiking trail.

A spacious wooden deck extends from the red cabin, featuring a hot tub surrounded by a low hedge. Multiple seating areas are visible, including a table and chairs. Large windows offer views of the natural surroundings, with trees flanking the property.

Located about a 10 minute drive from Ogna golf club and 5 minutes drive to Egersund golf club. 15 minutes walk to the sea. Just below the cabin is a lovely fresh water. The nearest shop is 10 minutes walk from the cabin. About 1 and an half hour drive away from the pulpit rock. Egersund city is about a 10 minute drive.

Enjoy the ocean breeze in this architectural gem of the North! Down in the spring, as a natural part of the landscape, is this beautiful cabin. The architectural expression is simple, but has lots of soul and in perfect contrast to the lush nature that surrounds it. The area offers lots of great hiking opportunities for both big and small, and the proximity to Egersund gives you the opportunity to combine nature experiences with city life and cultural experiences.

Benedikte house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

The building complex was finished in 2016, and maintains a high standard. The apartment is located in the 3rd floor( top floor) with a slight view of the ocean (elevator available). The first floor of the complex has both a gas-station and a small grocery store. The train station is located 100m away from the apartment, with frequent departures for both Stavanger and Egersund. Ogna beach is only 10 minutes of walking away. The condo has free parking on the premises.

Cottage was clean and very nicely located. We enjoyed the nice weather, the view and the swimming pond with cable car in the village. Piotr was quick to respond if we had questions.

I was in the Gigant for five days for professional reasons and needed a roof over my head with a bed and a kitchen as well as internet. All this was available at this property and all my needs were met. Therefore, I highly recommend it, at least for solo travelers
