In this apartment with its own entrance you can feel completely comfortable. All floors are made of natural wood, the walls of clay brick, the room atmosphere very pleasant. On the southwest balcony you have a wonderful view over the wildly maintained property, the forest and the neighbor's fallow deer enclosure. The main house was built in 1709 by Baron Gallen zu Assen for the priest and is directly adjacent to the church which was built by Count Ulrich of Nürburg in 1214. The house with approx. 50 sqm of living space has been restored with great attention to detail and renovated only with natural building materials in order not to lose the pleasant indoor climate.

Our house (historical, renovated half-timbered house) is located near (approx. 9km) from Bad Münstereifel, where there is a large swimming area in addition to the outlet. Our accommodation is good for couples, families with children and furry friends (dogs) are also welcome. Directly behind the house you are ideal in the countryside, ideal for hiking and walking. The house also has a small garden for sunbathing and barbecuing. The bedrooms and bathrooms can only be reached via stairs.

The bike path network is right next to our house. You can rent bikes from us for a small fee. An 18-hole golf course is 3 km away. What a great stay we had. The accommodation is truly amazing. We really felt at home. Nicely fitted with vintage furniture, nice are pieces, a great stereo set with lots of nice records and cd's. Roof terras has a nice view on the forest and river. Carmen is a very responsive host. Flexible in arrival and leaving time. I know loads of people say "I'm coming back here sometimes" and never do. I will definitely come back to enjoy the house and great Eiffel area.

The apartment was just perfect for a five-day getaway in nature. Very cozy, great views, beautiful garden. Vanessa and David were always available and always eager to help and give tips. Thank you! The sauna is of course an additional plus. All in all. Excellent :)

The house is a beautiful oasis and a good starting point for Eifel hiking. We enjoyed the tasteful design as well as the great cleanliness, the well-equipped kitchen with beautiful ceramic porcelain as well as the soothing relaxation in the sauna. The views of the surrounding nature were a pure invitation to slow down. In short: an all-round recommended domicile.

We had a very nice time in Thomas' house. It is very spacious, well equipped and has a very special charm due to its age. Communication with co-host Kerstin was also great. Next time we'd like to stay longer to see even more of the beautiful surroundings.
