Vacation rentals with breakfast in Edgewood

All good. Had a minor plumbing issue, but she took care of it ASAP. Instructions were impeccable, concise, and relevant. Space was completely as expected. Very good deal for the location. They even store the empty Metro cards by the front door for use by future customers. I'd stay again if needing to go to DC in the future.

Marlin's house was absolutely beautiful and The cleanliness was pristine. there were complementary items to use such as granola bars, shampoos and conditioners, lotions, even down to makeup removal pads. Everything was well thought out. The only issue that we had was the fridge wasn't cooling enough but he was very proactive in getting a repairman out within a couple of hours to take care of the problem. I am not complaining just using that as an example of how helpful the host was. This was our first family trip to Amish country and we wanted to get the best from our experience. This house was great to stay at since it is right in the heart of Amish country and surrounded by Amish farms. Plus, it is very convenient being only 5 to 10 minutes away from all the local attractions. We truly enjoyed our stay and loved being able to sit out on the back patio that is screened in to enjoy coffee in the mornings. We will definitely keep this house in mind as our first choice for future visits

What a great property in the heart of it all! Location was perfect, hosts were very helpful, cabin was clean with all amenities needed. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to all! My favorite part was being able to hear the clippity clop of the horses and buggies going down the street!

The only problem or suggestion is to allow people to change reservation as long as they want. I paid for an extra day that I did not need. I had to check out a day earlier because I did not know how things were going. I would stay here again next year.

5 Stars – A Wonderful Stay! I had such a great experience staying at Raquel’s place! From the moment I arrived, she made me feel right at home. The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Raquel was incredibly responsive and helpful, offering great local recommendations and making sure I had everything I needed. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made a difference. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend her place to anyone visiting the area!

Everything about this place was perfect for our family. The location was very close to public transportation in a nice neighborhood. The house was exactly as described in the listing with many extra, thoughtful touches. I hope that this residence is available for us again, because we would definitely stay there again when we next visit relatives in the area.

We stay here often because it's such a cozy comfortable home which is located conveniently close to many local attractions and shops and restaurants .

John’s place was a mixture of a private oasis (the backyard is INCREDIBLE!) and a central location from which you can walk to a number of fantastic restraints, shops, and stores. It’s also just a few blocks away from a metro stop and some excellent walking/running/biking trails. His house had everything we needed to feel right at home and comfortable; John has thought of almost everything possible to make his guests feel cozy and at home, too! We also loved that it was a short 10-minute drive to Reagan Airport and super easy to find. We will totally stay here again if we’re ever in the DC area; it would be a no brainer!

This home was wonderful and just as described. While Blair was out of town, Karen treated us wonderfully, even greeting us upon arrival and offering to help us get inside. We didn’t need much, but she was immediately reachable and ready to make our stay great. Would absolutely stay again!

My wife and I stayed here for several nights in June 2025, and recommend it without qualification. This is a beautiful private entrance apartment with a very large bedroom, well appointed living quarters, and 1 ½ baths. The location can’t be beat. It is in a very quiet neighborhood -- just a 10 minute walk to the closest Metro train station, and a 20 minute walk to the Capitol. Also just 1 mile from the Amtrak Station [Union Station]. Our host Sherry was a pleasure to meet and talk to, and she clearly enjoys taking care of her guests and making sure they have everything they need to be comfortable. In that regard there was nothing left for her to do, because pretty much anything that you might need while you are there is already available to you in the apartment. If you go, be sure to take a walk to see Eastern Market, which is also where the closest Metro train station is. We look forward to staying at the Inn on Capitol Hill again on any return trip to Washington.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 4nights to visit a family relative in DC. Great place and great price! Corbin was very helpful with everything we needed! We were able to check in without problem. Very safe place and close to a lot of places. We will surely be staying here again the next time we are in DC. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Corbin!

This place was in a great location! One block from the metro and a nice bar/restaurant called Bullfeathers very close by. We would stay here again. The only addition I would ask John to consider is to add a small cutting board to the kitchen. John was a great host as he left us a wide assortment of snacks, answered our questions quickly and he left us detailed information with a map to help us even more. Thanks John we had a great time!

Barbara was wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. She even had wine waiting for us. We loved the apartment and it was perfect for our needs! We look forward to staying there again!

Lynn’s space was super cozy, close to all the sightseeing stuff and great restaurants, and overall in a beautiful neighborhood. The parking was a plus! Definitely will book again if I’m ever back in DC!

My partner and I both stayed here during my visit to MD. I absolutely loved this home. It was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. The beds and blankets were so soft and it was a peaceful stay with our own entrance/exit. Denise was extremely kind and helpful, even reassuring me when I accidentally broke a magnet clip. My partner and I adore this home and will be staying here again if its available for our next trip. Here is what my partner had to say: Okay so some things i wanted to talk about: the catering was LOVELY. Great assortment of snacks and even a delicious maryland pastery that I didnt know existed (as a maryland native) Such clean, caring, and kind people that really did think of everything. One little note, if you are tall at all, there is a hanging lamp in the living room. Do NOT walk with your head down. Or you will bump into it. I had some close calls being 6'3 haha. Not a demerit on there end but something to be cautious of nonetheless!

Bruce and Vania's home was exactly what we needed during our time in DC. Very clean and accommodating, and the location is walking distance to the Green Rail, The Wharf (several food and entertainment options) as well as coffee shops and Nationals Park if you're looking to catch a baseball game. Having access to a washer and dryer was a plus as well as designated parking in front of the rental. As far as hosting goes, Bruce and Vania REALLY went above and beyond with hospitality. Vania's breakfast offerings were unmatched and more fresh compared to any restaurant we've ever dined at, and the kindness she radiated during our conversation will never be forgotten (I should insert here that we are pretty shy and reserved, yet she made us feel right at home). We look forward to staying here again someday because we will be back! Thank you again, Bruce and Vania. We appreciate you both!

We stayed in Katherine's place at a very difficult time - we came to DC for our son's heart surgery. We could not have been happier to be staying in such a comfortable, lovely, and truly homey place during this difficult time. The house is very practical, with a perfect lay out (it was my husband and I, our two kids, and our in laws staying at the house, and we had plenty of space). The play room and the variety of toys and books were absolutely amazing for the kids to be happy and entertained at home for hours on end, while my son recuperated from the surgery - the layout is excellent, because you can cook, or relax in the living room, while being able to monitor the kids at all times in the playroom. Katherine was very responsive, flexible and a please sure interact with at all times. The DC summer heat and mosquitos did not allow us to enjoy the backyard as much as we hoped, but in a different weather, the backyard would for sure be wonderful to enjoy.

We absolutely LOVED our stay with Lindy. Her home is so comfortable and private. We enjoyed the deer in the backyard and having coffee admiring her beautiful garden. The bed was super comfy, with many thoughtful amenities including fresh flowers. She made us an amazing fresh fruit salad and delicious breakfast. The neighborhood is quiet and serene with scenic places to run and enjoy the view of the bay. Thank you Lindy! We'll be back!

Sarah's place was exactly as described. The outside was beautifully landscaped. I love flowers and gardening so the outside was right up my alley. The room itself was clean and easily accessible in their home. The bed was very comfortable and my daughter said the futon was really nice and comfy to sleep on. The bathroom was huge and the shower was very spacious. We would definitely stay again.

All the 5 star ratings are correct - the Mitchell house is fantastic and you should book right away if it is available. This is more like a bed and breakfast rather than a completely independent Airbnb. I traveled solo, staying in one room and sharing the rest of the house with Phil and his other guests. The host was helpful, easy-going and attentive to any requests. The made-to-order breakfasts were fabulous and plentiful. The house is older, but charming, comfortable and quiet. I controlled the AC/fan in my room, which worked very well. There are many restaurants, Target, etc and the Metro within 10-15 minute walking distance. The house is also a short walk to AU or pick up the Wonk bus 2 blocks from his home (if you know how). Phil has hosted hundreds of guests who are repeat customers and someday I hope to be one of them.

We booked this location based on the wonderful reviews and we found it perfectly as described! The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable! We enjoyed an outstanding breakfast courtesy of the Cafe on The Bay’s owner Tammy! I am forced to eat gluten-free and am use to only being able to enjoy a cup of coffee when meals are offered. When Tammy became aware of my dietary restrictions, she provided me with one of the best breakfasts I’ve enjoyed! We will definitely return if the opportunity arises and stay again!

We cannot say enough good things about Bradley and his house. From the beginning of booking to our last day Bradley was always very kind and responsive. We arrived on motorcycles and it was raining. After we got settled in we were going to walk to a local restaurant, but Bradley was kind enough to drive us. He gave great restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. His dog Kane was great too! Overall great experience and would definitely book with him again!

I love stayed in here she’s definitely more than a host super friendly and make me feel like home and her friend !!❤️ so thankful of stayed here the place it’s a beautiful green area and everything in the room was so clean and comfy bathrooms clean everything was perfect loved it !!
