Midden in het gezellige centrum van Purmerend en toch zo rustig gelegen, vind je mijn knusse gastenverblijf. Binnen 200 meter sta je op het horecaplein met een ruime keuze aan restaurants. Hier begint tevens het winkelgebied van Purmerend. Elke dinsdag is er bijvoorbeeld markt. Er zitten twee grote supermarkten aan de overkant van de weg op slechts 100 meter. De bushalte is op 200 meter en het treinstation op slechts 1 km van mijn locatie (naar o.a. het centrum van Amsterdam (20 min.).

De studio is de bovenverdieping van ons achterhuis, met eigen opgang, douche/wc en keukentje. De ruimte is 10 bij 6 , met uitzicht over de Beemsterringvaart . Het is 10 minuten lopen naar de bushalte. Met bus 314 kun je de ene kant op naar de historische stad Hoorn en de andere kant naar Amsterdam centraal. De bus doet daar 40 minuten over. Het beste kun je vooraf aan je bezoek bij Amsterdam traveltickets kaarten kopen zodat je van al het openbaar vervoer gebruik kunt maken ( 26/ 33 euro)

Detached house in a central location in Purmerend.(No Party's) Located on the border of beautiful Kwadijk, surrounded by nature. A wonderful place with many beautiful cycling routes and a river is near the house. There are several beautiful places in the area that are easy to reach, such as Amsterdam, Volendam, Monnikendam and De Beemster. At the house you can park easily. A 5 minute walk will take you to the nearest bus stop. From here you can easily travel to, for example, Amsterdam.

A 5 minute walk away is the train station which has a direct line to A'dam CS and Schiphol Airport. For those who come by car ,there are public parking spot next to the apartment, 2 euro a day. Our 8-day stay in the Holland countryside was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and straightforward—everything was clearly explained and easy to follow. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel completely at home from the start. The house itself was spotless—super clean and fresh, clearly cared for with love. It looked exactly like the photos and matched the description perfectly, which was such a pleasant surprise. We also really appreciated the helpful instructions and thoughtful local recommendations that made exploring the area so much easier and enjoyable. The rural setting was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, yet still very walkable. We spent many mornings simply enjoying the serenity of the countryside. This stay was an absolute gem and a fantastic deal for everything we got. We’re very grateful for the experience. Highly recommended! ☺️❤️

In the old City Centre of Edam, unique apartment.

We stayed for 5 days and we enjoyed our visit very much. The location was great and it was very nice to have a parking spot nearby. The apartment was clean and well described. We had a bit of trouble with the front door lock, but Dennis helped us figure that out. Inside it was beautiful and we were very comfortable there. The water for the shower could have been a bit hotter, but that is a minor detail. We were able to sit in the back yard. We loved the area and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quaint village to visit. There were plenty of linens etc and lots of dishware. Dennis left us a nice assortment of drinks so that was a nice touch. He helped us with finding places to go visit in the area and had a great assortment of maps for our use. The area is absolutely beautiful and very old and we visited many small towns and villages nearby. We were easily able to get groceries and other items in Edam, everything was very walkable. Thank you to Dennis and Janneke.

This was the perfect place to stay. Wil is the ultimate host, always ready with her phone to plan your route or find opening hours. I am directionallychallenged and she provided me with the easiest route and then another to try something new and different. Lots of trees, water, birds… perfect calm after the craziness of Amsterdam. The bus/metro to Amsterdam takes less time than it takes me to get to work at home. I hope to stay again and will strongly recommend it to any friends and family heading that way. Wil - many, many thanks!

Herzlichen Dank für den sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit! Lage ideal für einen Trip nach Amsterdam oder um mit dem Fahrrad die Gegend zu erradeln. Außergewöhnlich die Atmosphäre auf der Terrasse mit Blick ins Naturschutzgebiet! Gern wieder!

I stayed at Vivian’s place with my elderly mom, and we had a great time! It is extremely conveniently located near all of the restaurants on the promenade. You just have to step out the door, walk a few steps, and you’re right on the promenade. The modern kitchen is nice, sometimes a bit inconvenient if you are not very tech-savvy or want to use a mokka pot for example (which you can’t on the induction plates). Two things to be aware of: 1. there is a small step from the main bedroom to the main bathroom, which tripped my elderly mom the first time. 2. If you are staying on a Friday/Saturday night, be prepared for lots of loud and drunk yelling from the nearby bar until about 1 am. The TV had German and British channels, which was great for my mom in the evening. Free parking is about 10 min walking away. Vivian has been very responsive and gave us some great restaurant suggestions (Smit-Bokkum and Romy’s Kitchen!). We would definitely stay again!
