Cabin vacation rentals in Echo Mountain

Beautiful view of the lake. It was very peaceful. Place had lots of cups and utensils and cooking pans. Also had lots of cooking oil and butter and spices for cooking. Even had a grill to use. Hot tub was perfect. Place had no ac but like the instructions mentioned to leave a window open and it keeps the house cool. Upstairs had a fan. Also had washer and dryer which came in handy. A dog door, dog bowls and dog bed. It was dog loving cabin. Can’t wait to stay here again in the future.

Our two families with a bunch of kiddos had an amazing time here! There was tons of things for the kids to do and a nice little hot tub for the adults and a fire pit to make s’mores in. Would definitely stay again.

The house was in a great location, just 1/2 a mile from my son’s house. The house was well stocked for my dog. I didn’t need to bring my crate! The projector TV was too high tech for me, but we did not need to use it. It was a lovely stay. I hope I can book again next year.

It was so peaceful — we enjoyed the sunset on the porch and the quiet surroundings.

Awesome lodge. Very cozy lots to do within walking distance. Charming fireplace. Wolf Creek Ski Resort was a 20 minute drive. Restaurants and shopping was great.

Place is as shown. Zipline was fun didnt realize was on property. Distance from anytime 45min plus. Peaceful and very comfortable

I had SUCH a wonderful stay at James and Kims' lovely cabin. It was adorable and comfortable. Close enough to town to easily pop in for groceries and such but still had that wonderful "away from it all" feeling. The cabin is located on a beautiful property with a gorgeous stream running right behind it and beautiful views of the mountains all around. James and Kim were extremely helpful, responsive, and kind. Can't recommend this place enough!

If you are looking for a true cabin in the woods —- one that feels like something from another time and also has a jetted tub and SUUUPER comfy beds this is your place. It is cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by absolute beauty. The aspens are amazing and the lake is like a 2 minute drive. We had such a wonderful time and felt right at home. I can’t recommend this cabin enough.

This is a wonderful oasis in our busy busy world. Anne was super responsive and provided loads of good advice for area things to do. We hope to return in winter or fall as there is so much to see and do... yet could see ourselves simply relaxing in the cabin.

The cabin was great! Well kept, and well stocked. My kids had the best time taking in the view of the lake and the mountains from the back porch. We loved it!!

I had a very nice and peaceful stay while skiing Wolf Creek. The views are spectacular, the cabin well appointed and comfortable, and close to everything with a short drive. Perfect for my dog and me, hope to visit again!

The cabin is really nice and a lot bigger than expected. Location was perfect and amazing backyard. Little light pollution made for great star gazing.

Cabin was simply amazing! Longer drive off the main road, but nothing to be scared of. The cabin was great and just as described. The proximity to Lemon Reservoir and the Florida River was perfect. Easy 30 minute drive to downtown Durango. Beds, kitchen, bathrooms, outside patio, et all were great and just as described in the listing. Would definitely recommend and wishing we were already back there. Thank you Janet and Victoria!!

One of the best if not the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. We had 6 boys ages 12-19 years old with two that are 6’5 and 6’6 “ plus four adults and had plenty of room to gather in the main room for meals after a long day of skiing or retreat to our rooms to relax. Jill went above and behind to add every detail to make our stay comfortable and special. I hope we gather again in Durango and get another chance to stay at Bearadise.

This Durango home truly felt like a retreat! Every morning started with breathtaking mountain views. We were lucky enough to see a bunch of deer and even an eagle right from the deck! We spent cozy evenings around the campfire and loved how peaceful everything felt. The location was ideal—tucked away enough to feel surrounded by nature, but still close to downtown for restaurants and activities. The host was very attentive and made sure everything went smoothly. We’d love to return and definitely recommend the house to anyone visiting the area!

We had a wonderful stay. Mike is friendly and responsive, the views are beautiful, and the cabin is spotless. This was our second stay at this cabin and will not be our last—highly recommend!

This was a very relaxing and beautiful location! We enjoyed fishing, canoeing and relaxing here. If you plan to come I would suggest you make sure to drive a 4×4 vehicle, it was a bit rough getting there but worth it! Also make sure to download the gate code before heading up, I didn't so we had to hike up to connect to wifi, and that was my fault. Again lovely, private location 🙂
