The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. Ample parking is available. Picturesque hiking trails start right at the doorstep, inviting you to explore.

Our accommodation is a large, well-equipped attic apartment. In addition to a cozy bedroom, there is a living and dining room with a sofa bed for 2 people, a reading corner, a modern bathroom and a kitchen. From the bedroom you have a great view of Altshausen Castle. The location is central (various shops, bakeries and restaurants within a 5-minute walk) yet quiet area. The garden can also be used. A beautiful swimming lake is within 10 minutes' walking distance.

Former farm building of the forester's lodge, rebuilt in 2006, very quietly located in the middle of nature, wide view over the fields and meadows. The Adelindis thermal bath can be reached in Bad Buchau, 5 km away, and other thermal baths are within a radius of about 25 km. The summer house is not suitable for children under 4 years of age and not for people with disabilities, as the sleeping compartment can only be reached via the steep ladder.

We had a really nice weekend in the attractive apartment. - And if the weather had "played along," we would also have liked to sit out on the spacious terrace. - So it was very cozy just next to the already heated fireplace (in the middle of the living room). Bedroom, living room with nice kitchen and also the bathroom are exceptionally beautiful in terms of interior design. We enjoyed the furnishing with "modern classics."

An outdoor terrace features a small seating area with two white chairs and a wooden table, set on a green rug. Flower pots and plants surround the space, enhanced by the greenery of the yard in the background. The sloped roof, adorned with dark tiles, provides shade.

Nice little place/attic apartment with very nice hosts, beautiful location (was there by car, so I can't say anything about public transport), Ravensburg and Friedrichshafen in max. 30 minutes' drive away. Basic equipment was available, cozy bed, small kitchen with everything you need and a private bathroom in the hallway. Nice little place to eat in the pretty eco garden. I felt right at home. :) And if anything should happen, you can always talk to the two of them. Thank you for the beautiful and uncomplicated stay with you! Kind regards from Ronja :)
