Vacation rentals with lake access in Eastern Shore of Virginia

We stayed here over spring break with our young kids. Tommy and Janet were very friendly and responsive. The location is great! Literally right across the street from the beach, and close to our all time favorite brewery :) we'd love to come back again in the summer months!

The place is spacious, well laid out, and comfortable for a group. The location is a convenient home base for exploring the area.

Creek Retreat is a perfect place to kick back and relax. Surrounded by nature, a private oasis. The space is well appointed, clean and comfortable. Tastefully decorated. Added amenities and attention to details elevate the experience. Enjoy kayaking and sitting by the fire. Georgia is a great hostess and is proactive and responsive. If you're looking for a getaway, book it here!

Great place to spend time with family, host are very nice and helpful. Place is totally worth it and we would totally rent this place again.

Great private place to take a vacation.

My family and I stayed here for a week for our family vacation. We are a group of 8 (6 adults and 2 kids) and there was plenty of room for all of us. We barely left the house because with the beautiful view, dock, beach area, canoe, kayaks, hot tub, game room/ library, corn hole, and fire pit we all had plenty to keep us entertained. Everyone loved Mary & Shelly’s place, and it provided the perfect space for us to enjoy the river and each other’s company!

Both Dan and Scott could not have been better hosts. This is our 2nd year in a row staying at the Sunnyside Up cottage and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The cottage is quaint and clean. It is fully stocked and has everything you could need for a few nights stay. The communication was excellent and the instructions were very clear for checking in and out. We will definitely return for another stay in the future. The best part about the Sunnyside Up cottage are the views of the river! They are gorgeous!!

This waterfront home has gorgeous views. The location is very private and peaceful. Our family really enjoyed fishing from the dock, playing yard games (we brought our own), and just relaxing. Our two-night stay was the perfect amount of time for us to recharge. I would rent the house again.

A perfect getaway in a great location! Everything was only a 5 min drive to the beach and greats bars, restaurants. Kathryn was very responsive when needed!

We enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and clean. Everything was as described. Beds were so comfy had a great sleep. Perfect for couples or families. This unit allows for privacy since the primary suite is on the 3rd level and the other 2 rooms are on the second level. Very convenient that each bedroom has a bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need . We brought our bikes with us, we were not concerned at all with leaving them in the parking garage. Very safe area. We definitely recommend for your next stay in Ocean City.

The house was awesome! Great location - close to restaurants, stores, beach and boardwalk. Park your car and never drive again! Walk or bike anywhere in Dewey or Rehoboth. Private yard surrounded by tress and a fence. An incredible 2nd story screened in outside patio/porch that you can enjoy anytime of the day or night! Open kitchen and living room area. Don’t forget about the outside shower. The best place to be after a day at the beach! Philip and Michael were great host! We can’t wait to visit again!

Our stay was lovely! The property is quiet and peaceful. The apartment is right above the roosters so we could hear them crow every morning, but it didn't bother us. The parking is a bit of a walk from the apartment, but everything was clearly labeled and easy to find. The kitchen had basic pots and pans, plates and bowls, and utensils. But did not have things like cooking oil, salt/pepper, etc. It didn't hinder our stay, but these are mentioned in the listing, so it was noted. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Junes place was so cute and cozy! She left plenty of item for us to use and was so nice when we checked in. She’s very easy to get a hold of. I will definitely be coming back to her house when I do a weekend get away:)

Tom's place on the bay side was very nice. Exactly like the pictures. Beautiful view of the bay from the balcony and our lab loved laying in the sun. No problems with checking in, tv/cell reception was great, and we even walked up to local restaurant. The beach is also within walking distance. Tom responded back quickly with any questions I had. The condo was very clean and decorated with a beachy vibe. Check it out!

Wow what a fun visit to a super cool part of Ocean City!! The vibes were coastal and so fun! Decor was beachy & relaxing. Balcony was awesome and it was nice knowing there was a washer/dryer if needed although I didn’t need it. Shower pressure in the shower was perfect. Parking was plentiful & at no cost! Emmanuel was so helpful in recommending places to check out which made the trip even more fun. Thank you for everything!!

Joyce has done a phenomenal job with this lake house. Everything has been thought through. The house actually looks even better than the pictures. You can tell a lot of thought went into the decor. And it is super clean. The kitchen is fully stacked with everything you would need ant home or away. Ample seasoned fire wood and starter sticks makes using their MASSIVE fire pit a breeze. The best part is she gives you access to both of their docks and you will not have to take your boat or kayak out of the water once. We kayak fished Johnson’s and Lacey’s with ease from her house. 100% coming back to stay again.

Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived and we felt at home right away. The location was fantastic- private and peaceful but also very convenient to walk out the door and be on the beach in a couple of minutes. My favorite feature was all the amenities provided by the hosts- beach towels, laundry detergent, games and books for the kids, etc. Even just having access to a broom and dustpan to sweep up the sand we tracked in was very helpful (and something we have missed in past Airbnb experiences). We would definitely recommend Richard’s place and would love to stay here again in the future.

This house and these hosts represent the very best of Airbnb. I checked in on a beautiful Friday afternoon, but shortly after arrival, a storm hit the area that knocked out the power. Jenny and Dave were at the house to check on my welfare as soon as it was safe, despite a literal tree falling on their porch. I only live half an hour away, and could have easily gone home where there was still power, but decided to stay put where I was instead, and if that doesn’t tell you everything you need to know about how wonderful this house and location and hosts are, I don’t know what else to say. 10/10. I can’t wait to return for another staycation!

We had a wonderful time! The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful and relaxing—perfect for unwinding, even on the rainy days we had. The space was beautiful, cozy and calm. Gina was a great host—very responsive and proactive in checking in to make sure everything was going well.

Andrea's cottage on the Chesapeake Bay is a jewel in the Northern Neck of Virginia! We spent a long weekend here with our pup and we enjoyed every minute of it! The home itself is gorgeous; it was tastefully decorated, free of clutter, featured extremely comfortable furnishings and was equipped with everything we needed. But the piece de resistance was the view of the bay from the sunroom. We sat in that room for hours just gazing at the waves, the ships in the distance and the variety of birds including herons, cranes, seagulls and pelicans. We also saw a dolphin swim by! The view was perfectly stunning! Andrea was also the most gracious host. She reached out to us before we arrived to tell us about a few places to visit and things to do during our stay. She was quick to respond to any questions we had and we felt as if we were being cared for by a family member! Be sure to visit this cottage on the bay; you won't regret it! Thank you, Andrea, for a wonderfully serene weekend!

Our stay in Tall Timbers was fabulous, much of it thanks to the care, detailed information, and lovely accommodations provided by our host, Robert. He communicated extremely well through the whole process from booking to check out. Nothing was a mystery and everything was as described or better. The house is charming and in a lovely wooded location. it's isolated but close to many amenities and short drive to historical attractions, local businesses, and the beautiful Maryland coast. We had a particularly wonderful visit to the Tall Timbers Oyster Ranch which is walking distance from the house. We highly recommend this location and send our thanks once again to Robert for his outstanding hospitality!

Incredible stay on a beautiful property. It’s quiet, private, VERY well maintained and just awesome. I truly hope to stay at this location again in the future because it was that great! You can tell the history in the cottage yet it’s updated and cozy. Also I’ve NEVER stayed at a location so clean!!!! From the cottage itself to the grounds, everything was very well taken care of.

My husband and I had a fabulous time at Mallard Cottage!! It was exactly the retreat we needed from the stress of work. Andrew and Lindsey thought of everything and they were the most amazing hosts! There was so much to do at the cottage that we didn’t need to go anywhere else. We especially loved sitting in the sunroom and watching the water. We will definitely be back!!! Highly recommend this getaway!
